The 3pt shooting from Reddick and the 2 mid season additions of Belinelli and Ilyasova has been huge for them and what makes them really dangerous.

The premise was that they sign a max guy they wouldn't be able to keep all of three shooters

If they don't get a max guy they roll the same team out again with racist reddick back perhaps on another short term deal and keep one or both of Marco and sova

Russ is one of the worst problems to have. Not great enough to lead a winner and elevate teammates. Not bad enough to get you a lotto by himself. All while getting a max contract

ESPN's Zach Lowe reports that the Knicks will interview Heat assistant coach Juwan Howard for their head coaching vacancy. Howard will be the tenth person to interview for the club's coaching search. His interview is expected to take place on Saturday, per sources.

Whiteside and Gortat have had it with small ball

Marcin Gortat said he's read how people have written how he's gotten old and he's adamant that he has plenty left in the tank. He made it clear he hates when the Wizards and other teams go small, stating that "small ball is trash." Gortat doesn't know what the Wizards will do with him entering the final year of his deal but he made it clear he can still play.
