I consider tier 1 players those that can single handedly be the #1 option on a legit championship team. I don’t think Harden is that guy. Nothing wrong with that as there’s really only a handful of those guys.

Is he better than Bron, Curry, KD, Kawhi, AD? No.

Prior to actually doing it....I doubt many had Curry and Kawhi pegged as "#1 options on championship teams".

So how is AD on this list but Harden isn't?

He's making himself the guinea pig again for this if he decides to leave Cleveland. Unless the Boston talks are real, there's truly nowhere for him to go to get that fourth ring.

You know what's going to be funny, When Beta Boy follows his footsteps and does the move to a 3rd team for rings thing better. After this GSW run is done, KD is going to leave for a better situation. KD is going to win more rings and the Lebby fans are going to be livid about how unfair it is again.
Beta boy staying in oaktown until Wardell gives him the boot

AD has played with D league players for the majority of his career. He’s also showed up to every single playoff game even though most of the times he faced a 1 seed. This was the first year he played with legitimate NBA players.

when does free agency begin? bronny going to hold these players/teams hostages and make GMs around the league nervous and impatient if he drags this out

I think Curry deserved FMVP but I was cool with KD getting it.

Do you mind expanding on why?

I wanted Curry to win too, but I actually would have found it ridiculous if he did.

So I am curious to know how you and other people seem to honestly believe Curry should have gotten it.

So we're knocking James Harden for not being able to get it done w/ Dwight Howard?

Maybe it's a recency bias thing, but people are really forgetting how good Kawhi Leonard is. He's THE best defensive player in the league and a top 10 offensive player.
wrong. his last playable yr, he was 3rd in defense at best. The effort wasn't even the same as previous yrs because his offense came along and the majority of his energy went there.

Track record aside
Kawhi needs to show he can come back and he who he was
But someone is paying that man regardless, would just suck if my lakers trade for him
And he’s damaged goods and can’t stay on the court for more than 60 games

The last two year the Rockets have averaged 60 wins.

They’ve won 17 playoffs games and were an injured hamstring to their 2nd best player from winning a ring.

Edit: AD has never been apart of a 50 win team but he’s tier 1? Y’all got it

regular season dont mean nothing. Most nights dudes dont even be trying like that. AD aint chocha in the playoffs.

I guess that eliminates the Rockets too

5 wins in the playoffs doesn’t suggest he’s anymore capable than Harden to leading a team to a championship
what about harden makes you think he can be a legit #1 option on a championship team? He took a backseat to better version of raymond felton fat *** on the best team he's ever been on

James Harden was the best player on the Rockets this postseason in which they were 1 bad quarter and some questionable calls from winning a championship.

Harden has never showed up to when it matters most. To his credit whole damn Rockets team shoulda just stayed home for game 7

His game 2 and 4 were what did it for me. KD has a monstrous game 3 but Curry's game 2 gave them a much needed lead in the series then Cavs pretty much stopped playing defense in Game 4 and just let Curry do whatever he wanted.

I forgot where I saw it but they were discussing on some sports show how when Curry goes off and is draining 3s effortlessly it usually leads to a blowout win, and when KD goes off it’s often a close game because the offense has to adjust to his ISO’s and there’s less ball movement
