An impressive feat that would still be tainted due the lack of all star talent in the east.

He's been just as important to his team this year as say, Jimmy Butler and Paul George were to their teams last year. PPG isn't quite as high because he doesn't take as many shots as them, but he's obviously a better rebounder and facilitator.

Most rookie guards, no matter how incredible of a prospect they are, are generally pretty inefficient. A bit easier to plug transcendent level bigs in for early success.
