wow at dudes throwing OJ and Kobe in the same sentence as MJ
I'm not saying OJ will be as good as Kobe or MJ! C'mon read people

I said he be a Diet Kobe....a lesser version but still dominate in the league with a similiar style.

MJ is the G.O.A.T I know this
In my opinion Kobe is 2nd when it comes to shooting guards.

Now as for OJ I think in his prime he'll be a SUPER star in the league and be top 3 at his position. I don't know him or any other players but I'veread enough and watched enough video to see the drive and ability impose his will on the game.

I'm not here to make you a fan I'm just here to warn you guys. He is not cut from the same cloth as these other cats. I've played against Beasleyand he's a clown. I respect his game but Durant is gonna be 10 times the pro Mike will be. I just don't see how OJ can fail barring injury. Seeit's not the stats he put up its the way he scores. He has all the footwork, fadeaways, pumpfakes, shooting range, and tools that half the SGs in leaguedon't have. He's not a talented, lazy dude it's documented by every coach/trainer he's been around.

Here's the difference between the attitudes of these cats right here and don't say it isn't true

After a loss....

Yeah, I don't see why Bayless stock is dropping right now. I like the kid.

• The same guy told me, "Donte Greene does one thing and one thing only: He shoots. He does not guard, rebound, defend or anything else, but he shoots all the time and he is a good, not great, shooter."

Simmons took Bayless at 11:
My favorite player for this spot is Brandon Rush, but the Pacers don't need another swingman; if anything, they could use another rebounding/shotblocking body for Jim O'Brien's system, especially after Jermaine O'Neal's tragic death two years ago.

Good for Jon. Maybe he can get a summer league invite.

Some veteran GMs drafting later in the first round are scratching their heads at our last mock draft -- especially some of the high risers in the draft.

"Russell Westbrook is a role player who probably is a sixth man on a good team," one GM said. "How has he risen to a top-10 pick? I'd take Leandro Barbosa over him any day of the week. Westbrook is athletic, fast and plays defense, but a top-10 pick? I don't see it."

Here's another GM on Robin Lopez: "Can you name the last time a guy who averaged five rebounds per game in college was suddenly labeled a rebounder in the draft? Robin Lopez is a backup, not a lottery or mid-first-round pick."

Said another GM: "Name one international player who has made [it] in our league who's averaged five points per game or less in his home country. Alexis Ajinca is a workout wonder, but there is no precedent for a player with his poor production making it in the league. He's going in the lottery?"

Bout time that was said. Actually all 3.

Robin can move around, he's athletic...kid just isn't that good of a player.

Brook, he's a little more plodding, but he lives on the block and is 7 foot..he can manage

...and this further confirms why he's with ESPN and not an NBA team...
Since I think Thompson has no upside, what about Jordan? Chances are he's a bust, but is there anyone left in this draft who would convince you not to take this gamble? He's huge, he has great athleticism and he has about a five percent chance of becoming good. Can you say that about anyone else left in the draft?
Smart.

(don't tell him Thompson is only 21, too)
