VC did go to a contender, he went to the Magic and stunk.

I was supportive of that move, I thought Carter could step into a role where he wouldn't have to carry the team... but just chucked up 3's and didn't drive to the hoop hard enough, the Tin Man shot 24% from 3 in the playoffs in 2010

. It would be cool to see him go to another contender, but he had his chance in my mind... he couldn't get it done.

The thing is though, with that whole Magic situation, I always felt like he wasn't being used properly. VC isn't a spot up shooter & that's what they tried to make him. VC is a player who needs the ball in his hands to make plays for himself & most importantly others around him. If you give him the ball, he'll be able to run the pick & roll, drive to the rim more, or what he's done many times in the past (especially with bigs) dish the ball off in a position where they could finish... He's a very underrated passer. If he got the ball more & had some more freedom to create, I gurantee he'd be a lot more effective then Stan having him in the corner waiting to catch & shoot...

& Im not saying the ball needs to be run through him every play, Im not saying the Magic should've made him the main scorer, or made tons of plays through him... I am saying though that if they used him differently, they would've had more successful results.

I don't disagree SVG has a poor gameplan, but nothing was stopping VC from doing all those things when given the chance, which he had often. His 2010 playoffs was the last straw, no one shooting that poorly should keep chucking 3s, but Carter did.

Seen something on ESPN talking about Miami trying to move into the first round. If anybody in the NBA takes any of that garbage on the Heat roster, I will be appalled. They don't even have first round picks for like the next 5 years. I think all the other teams in the NBA should hang up on the Heat if they call, on some "Deal with it Riley, your roster sucks and we don't want your garbage"

Vince better be working out every single day this summer. dude needs to stop being a bum, i agree they had a good team in Orlando and i thought he would put them over the top and take the east but he played like complete garbage. he disappointed me, unless he changes his work ethic and his attitude on the floor then he wont help anyone.
