No race is set in stone. The bottom seeds for both conferences are still very wide open as is the whole Western conference.

Dallas or Golden State could easily be out of the playoffs, and Denver could still get in; they're only .5 games out....


but I think out of the West it'll be Utah, and out of the East it'll be Boston. If Stern really wanted his way he'd have Lakers-Celtics though.Please (selected) Laker fans, I'm NOT hating on the Lakers by not picking them to be in the Finals. I just feel Utah has the ingredients to get in thisyear.

I honestly think that the Warriors and Nuggets will get in with the Mavs falling out. I just think with Dirk out that it is going to be very tough for them.We'll see though, it is going to be a great race.
