Hey guys, hoping someone would be on right now that owns a pair of 696 deconstructed's, wondering how they fit? Ima 10.5 in Pretty much every Nike and a 10 in 998s. Was gonna go w. A 10 since they have no padding but read one post one reddit w. A dude saying to go down a full size from nikes. Can anyone confirm or recommend if I should go 10 or 9.5? Really appreciate the help!

I honestly don't understand how people say one release was better for the HTBs. They are all going through the same process with thinner suede so it's hit or miss really because there made by hand. Saying one release is not as good as another is not how it works. There's clearly inconsistency from shoe to show since they're using thinner suede and it's made by hand by a different person. For an example people say the GY2s are horrible shape when I was at the outlet I saw some with perfectly fine shape. There's just more inconsistency these days because they're thinning down on the suede used.

Feel like the deconstructed/reengineered's got a ton of love on sneaker info sites but legit finding info on sizing is like finding a chick that actually deepthroats but doesn't do porn...it either doesn't exist or is a well kept secret

Apparently the "in store" deals are only offered a few at a time, and J. Crew is not in there today. So only getting the ebates if you shop online.
 
Me and one other guy here at the J crew at Lenox. So no rush if you're coming out. Wish they would give us tokens so we could leave and come back when it opens.

yea they just did at Columbus circle. Gave me #2 even though I was first :smh: :lol:
 
ahhhhh I have a personal 20% off code that works on the butterscotch 997 but I don't have the funds until payday :/
 
Handed out tokens at Lenox. Numero deuce. But number one isn't my size so no worries. Will post pics at some point after I cop
 
Was just checking out the 990 NB 1 and they got some nice colors, wish NB would make the same options available on the 998/make 997 available as well
 
On a side note bostons open but they won't sell the butterscotchs, even though their online. J crew is a mess with coordinating what's going on
