Official New Balance Thread *sizing info for different models on first page*

Pulled out some gems that are still wearable.. *second* concepts x new balance collab and what started it all... quality on the suede and leather is unbelievable. As I say good leathers look better when you wear them, this def passed that test.

yes - but that 576 was fugly (back then). back then 576s were pretty much unheard of and not as common as they are now.. 1500, 574s pretty much ran the show. Id say that 576 was more of a test run, lol.

Especially in 2007 when those loud colors were really not vibing as well as they are today. there was a softer color palate back then, something I do miss seeing..

that was a trend that starting breaking out in 2007ish but nobody in atlanta was wearing clothes like that though until much later.. Everyday wear was still with dark color palates. but each to his own though.

Its great to read through especially if you're newer to NB like me. Only bad part about the blog is it makes me wish I was around for the older pairs.
 
Totally forgot to cancel a lowball bid that I threw up on StockX for ronnie x dsm navy 574 sport. It was accepted lolI. If anyone needs a pair under retail pm me 11.5

My local had some buttery MiUSA 997 for 39.99 on clearance but I am not a size 13 :smh:

They have a few other NBs for the cheap so definitely worth a look if you have the time.

I actually think both the 576 and 577 saw more releases back then. New Balance didn’t have as many retro models in their lineup. If I recall correctly, there was a bunch of vibrant suede 576’s in the early 2000’s. I remember grabbing a pair from Concepts in 2000 along with some navy 574 elites. I’ll try to dig up pics.

Edit: compliments of glasgowrob on IG. There was a neon yellow pair too which I had and destroyed.
