I think it was either a navy or a grey 574 from either Footaction or Champs. It's cloudy for me because I know I got my first pair of Saucony Jazz during that same time in a similar color. This had to be either 99 or 2000. Champs always had those at $59 two for $100 and so did Mr Alan's (Detroiters know ).

The first pair of NBs I got as an adult that I really wanted was the luggage pack 580s. That was my entry into NBs you couldn't get on the sales rack at the mall. Got one pair from Incognito in Royal Oak and the other from Burn Rubbers first location. Copped them on sale as I did everything back then. Never got the brown pair though.
