Richie, thanks for posting this. Easily the most informative article on the 990 I've read thus far. Always wondered why Philly/DMV showed so much love to the model and now I know. Insane.
Ok I know I'm not the only one who has thought about this before but why doesn't NB update the cushioning in the midsole on their made in usa/uk shoes? I get that its a retro style but the Absorb on the 998 and the Absorb on the running 880 model are two completely different foams. It seems like when it comes to recreating the historic silhouettes they follow the design of the upper to the T but then they always throw some cheap cushioning on it. Considering how much they cost if they could make these more comfortable and actually feel like were like back when they were first made I would assume sales would increase.
I was really hoping that Freesia would have more texture or character too it but it just looks like some banana yellow lol Cherry and Tiger are both nice though.
What are those exactly? I noticed the question was never answered on the last page. I definitely like those.
