As a Team Widefoot Captain, I’d say go .5 up

I went TTS in my Rainclouds and they fit, but could definitely be better. Ended up goin .5 up in my pairs of 860v2s and they fit great

I think at this point too there are enough 2002rs in stores that anybody should be able to make a visit and try them on unless they are in a really small market.

How is the 997 compared to 998 for sizing? similar? 997 looks slimmer in tow box to me

997 is def slimmer. I usually wear a 9 in the 997 and 8.5 in the 998.

997 is def slimmer. I usually wear a 9 in the 997 and 8.5 in the 998.

Thanks. I found a couple pairs of 997 PAL for great prices in size 12 and 11. Usually wear 11.5 so just went with the 12. Thanks for the help. These are one of my grails.

US-made NB haven't been $120 retail for like 30 years. I think I remember original 990 being $100 when they came out in the early 80's. I remember reading it, not buying it. I'm not that old.

^496, 497, 498 would be one exception (made in usa and $40-$50 retail in the mid late 90s), but generally that is correct. another example would be some made in usa 574s from 90s and early 00s

Regardless, nobody is talking about 30 years ago. I'm talking NOW. 2023. NB's have been WAY overpriced for way too long.

"But, but, but Made in USA....very high quality...etc." I don't wanna hear none of that. Stop charging so much NB!
