RG3 needs to leave DC. And the NFL for awhile.

What do you mean for a while? :lol

The damage is already done. His brain is on Wes Welker and Polamalu status.

It's not even a laughing matter anymore, dude needs to retire for good but he feels like he needs to prove something to us which is very sad when you think about it

JJ Watt wears the backwards hat like 90 percent of the time he's not wearing a helmet in Hard Knocks

What's wrong with Troy's brain?

Glad this is in the WaPo today...

On a night RGIII exits injured, it’s fair to ask what was Jay Gruden thinking?

Matt Jones is a 231lb. RB.

231lb. RBs should not be able to accelerate, cut and make people miss like this.

To be fair, he really wasn't out there that long and when he was they looked sloppy.

He only droppped back 8x

If you want the coach to worry about your Qb's health after 3 series then the coach ain't the problem.

Considering that the blocking scheme changed as soon as McCoy entered the game, yea...the coach has some questions he needs to answer.

Detroit's front 7 was aggressive as hell. On the blind side, they started....STARTED a guy (Willie Smith) who will most likely be cut. Scherff looked every bit of a rookie last night. There was no additional blocking on the line from the TEs. RG3, for the most part, was a sitting duck. The one time he stood tall in the pocket and delivered a beautiful throw, it was dropped by Roberts. Of course, Griffin took a huge hit after the pass, but still...there was little-to-nothing he had to work with last night when there was no pocket and CONSTANT pressure in his face.

I'm not going to absolve him completely of blame, because I have no clue what he was thinking on his last play before the concussion...but I'm guessing he was a bit rattled due to all the other hits he took prior.

McCoy, when he came in, was given TE help on the line, RO plays, and roll outs. All of those factors would have certainly helped RG3, and more importantly, the patch-work/crappy line he had in front of him with the "first" team.

It was an utter disaster from Gruden last night.

Troy needed a new knee. Wasn't the same player after that mcl sprain/tear against the titans in 2009. Bounced back the next 2 seasons fairly well but it slowed him down tremendously.

Can't say that Gruden left him in too long. A lot of coaches have been leaving their starters in long because of how little they get to practice now. We've seen a few starting QBs play almost the entire first half in games last week.

Statistically, didn't EJ have a better game than Manziel? Why the hell is Manziel's average performance getting praised so heavily.
