That was always my biggest gripe with peoples quick defense of Chip.
Although I'm leaning towards Chip being an *** hole as opposed to a racist, I still hate how the discussion ended because he "replaced" blacks with blacks.

Coming from a state that was literally 99% white in 1963 and still 96-97% white today I wouldn't be surprised if someone from there exhibited some type of prejudice.
Not saying I would automatically think they were racist, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised. I would assume a lot of people from there have had little to no interactions with minorities given the demographics and we aren't exactly portrayed as model citizens by a lot of the media.
Chip would obviously later have a more diverse experience being involved in football.
