OFFICIAL NFL OFFSZN THREAD 2023-24: Bill WILDIN

And if they wanted to pay him less, should have paid him last year when he was initially eligible for an extension
Negotiations go both ways. JJ probably rejected MIN’s initial offers to see how this offseason market looked with higher profile names eligible for extensions.

They do, work both ways.. all the WR contracts seemingly worked off of the tyreek deal, which was in place

But if you’re able and going reset the market anyways, always better to pay your guy early and you get the extra year to spread out the bonus and mitigate the cap hits

He earned his money and he’s probably the best WR in football. If JJ is a below average QB, JJ will be ineffective.

He’s of the D-Hop, Andre Johnson ilk. No matter the QB, he will play well

Missed like 6 or 7 games and had Nick Mullens throwing to him and Jordan Addison cutting into his targets and still had exactly 1000 receiving yards

Larry Allen had an ugly facemask and still was a beast! Such an important part of my childhood as a Cowboys fan in the 90s and 2000s

John Madden and Larry Allen both gone. RIP

This ain’t 1992, 1000 yards ain’t a big deal in today’s league and an extra game.

And JJ might end up being good, I don’t believe in him but he could be
