Personally, I didn't like it "better". But it was ok.

I LOVED the Quad screen. THAT was fantastic. Serious game changer.

The downside? To toggle between games or local I had to move from YouTube to DirecTV to Paramount+. (CBS is in a dispute with DirecTV so I had to use Paramount for those two games)

Logging into each burned time I didn't want to waste. Changing channels was so much simpler/easier. If they had just added Quad screens years ago they might have added more viewers long ago.

thats my biggest gripe. I love to change channels and to go from my app on the tv to directv is time I hate wasting.

But i need it. Tried to convince myself I can do without
