Official Nike Air Yeezy 2 AFTERMATH THREAD ----- NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING!

Mart, I think most people have already started thinking about how they plan to buy them. If you're expecting everyone to share their strategy in here then you're nuts man. Its just not going to happen lol

I'll share my strategy.

Friday I'll wake up in OK then fly to NYC, where I'll meet up with Mark, Cap'n sneakerhead, and sneakerfan1. We'll pop Molly's and get to sweatin and roll to some underground club where Mark knows the bouncer. Cap'n will hook us up in VIP thru his NFL connects, and sneaker fan will corrall the 6 finest dime pieces in the place to join us.

We'll all have pairs RSVP'd at NTNY and Mercer. 2 pairs each. So after a night of no sleep, we'll roll into the Niketowns early and grab our pairs Saturday morning. Celebratory bleezy and I hit the first flight after that to Vegas.

Meet up with j23 on the strip and go grab our nikeLV RSVP's. Have a few celebratory glasses of scotch with my boi and leave him to his party. I'll bounce back to my penthouse suite to do some EXTREMELY high quality yack in my suite (since I partied all night in NYC and now some jet lag is also kicking in and I can't miss the tweet) while waiting on the second NTLV RSVP for unsold pairs to go live, then grab one in my name and also one in each of my new friends, Sukison and Destani, names. Will give them their 3 hour fee, take a nap in my lush suite, covered in red Octobers, and end the night at the Love is Beautiful Fest with a group of barely twenty something HARD 10's covered in GITD body paint.

Basically, another day in the life of your average NTer.

probably the only chance of gettin these for retail is NDC (if they release them, remember solars and plats weren't supposed to .... and they announced it a day/hrs before release ) or FL/HOH etc..

most low-key spots are not low-key anymore (thank you sneaker blogs) , i remember getting my pairs yeezy 1's for retail and without having to fight the world.. but again this was before everyone and their mom were "sneakerheads"

stores , mom and pop shops now days are aware of what people are willing to pay and do for these particular pair of shoes... so expect raffles (buying from the clearance section or some ugly t-shirt to enter) or auctions...


i believe MAJOR DC auctioned the first Yeezy , people ended up payin 500+..

a funny thought, between paying for RSVPs, bots, and auctions, no one is gonna pay retail for these lol. I can't see too many spots doing raffles when they can just charge whatever that want

there's plenty of shoes that mom and pops get but not Niketowns, usually "tier 0" releases , super limited but not necessarily hyped up.

Plats and solars were on the calender when they release. I remember because i was one of the workers that did that release.

camping on a FCFS basis is usually not recommended. you guys always do raffles.....i hate raffles.

The Air Yeezy 2 released at the following Nike retail stores:

- Nike Montalban ()

- 21 Mercer ( and )

In regards to Nike SF, they released the Air Yeezy 1, but not the 2. The Zen Grey and Blinks were FCFS, while the Net pair was an in-store raffle.

Now that I think of it, I think a lot more Nike retail stores released the 1 than the 2.

Edit: Nike NYC did not receive the Yeezy 2s.

DJ PROTO I believe you mentioned sole protectors earlier? Do you use them with all your Yeezy 2's? And do you think it helps keep the GITD soles from browning in some areas?
