It's basically material. I bought the 100% cotton aw77 and they feel better than the techs IMO.

I own both. Both are the same size. Tech's are significantly slimmer than the AW77's. I would say by about 2 inches all the way down the leg. And yes, the material on the Tech's are of higher quality. Overall, both are really comfortable, and it comes down how you want them to fit.

Yes, waist is the same, length is the same. Tech's just fit tighter.
