Prices don't stay that high if they "weren't limited" just look how quickly prices on Carmine's dropped. Fact is if a shoe isn't limited, inflated prices go down when they realize the market is over saturated and they want to get rid of what they have in time for the next drop.

Mall employee in SF told me that all they got was 12 pairs in the gold.
