I definitely understand why the pull straps are so "beefed up" on the 15's, it takes a good effort getting them on and off, but has a nicer fit once on than the 14's.
Ashes are sick in person, I bet they end up being my favorite colorway just based on the simplicity and ease of rocking black/grey/white.

How is the ankle support?

It's not bad.
A better heel counter than the 14 makes them stronger and higher around the ankle, but then it's like a spandex opening around the ankle that has a nice stretch for getting on and off.
