Everyone is going to have their own overview/take on shoe. Everyone is built different.

You can't compare a 5"5 guy to a 6"5 guy. They're built different.

this is true. you are entitled to your own opinion.
but considering the VI is just a slightly tweaked version of the V, with a more breathable upper and a memory foam sockliner, it shouldn't be too far off right?
Just coming off logic here, but then again it is my opinion

Have you balled in the Kobe 6s?
The best performance shoe up to date has to be the 4s or 5s debatable (I still prefer the 4s).
But to rate the 6s as better overall performers than the 4s and the 5s is utter blasphemy.
But your entitled to your opinion....

You are right, but at the same time i feel my opinion generally encompasses all players. Not just from my experience, but talking about said technologies of the shoes on paper. Herringbone will always trump any other form of rubber tread. Full width zoom > met head zoom > lunar foam. A high top with an adequate heel counter will always have better prioperception than a low. So on and so forth.

Wasn't disagreeing with you. I agree with you on the tech.

That's why the 2K4 will always be my favorite Bball shoe to play in.

I'd say that after they were working with the idea of the sleeve with the V and the VI and it didn't make its way to a retail version until the VII, that chances are that they have perfected it.

Plus, I don't see them releasing a premium Kobe product (since Kobe = uber performance) without making sure every aspect of the shoe has been tested and passed with flying colors.

AGREED. The 2k4s is timeless perfection. Its amazing how after 7 years no shoe can top it without getting close to the $200 price point. Its a shame those weren't the Kobe 1s

I don't think they can top it to be honest.

I mean... What else can they really improve on that shoe... Every other Bball shoe since then has been based on that shoe.
Low to the ground... Fore and heel zoom... Sort of light...

Sucks that Bball shoes don't use a full length real carbon fiber shank.

Man I literally played the air out of that shoe. But the Kobes that I've had (1, Orcas, 5 & 6) have all been great. I'm sure these won't disappoint.

will cop the 2k4 coming out next summer. at least I don't need to spend
extra on NikeID for shoes I'd destroy on court...

Damn... I need to try the zk7 man.
