Well, he picked Braves in 3, so I'll take his predictions. Hate him too.

I hate Jeff Passan with a passion. The way he looks makes you want to punch him in his face. I'm glad he picked the Phillies just like he picked the Braves.

I love that no one is giving the Giants a chance...usually ends up being the other way when that happens.
Starting Sanchez in Game 2 is a good look.  Phillies have trouble against lefties and Cain fares much better at home.

Timmy/Sanchez/Cain/Bumgarner/Timmy/Sanchez/Cain will be the rotation over 7 games IMO
Lincecum Battling Blister Problem
Oct 14, 2010 5:33 AM EST

Tim Lincecum confirmed that his blister problem resurfaced during his 14-strikeout complete game against the Atlanta Braves in the NL Division Series opener Oct. 7.

"It's not a big deal, and we're taking care of it," said Lincecum, who has received extensive treatment.

"It's under control," Bruce Bochy said.

Lincecum may pitch Game 4 if the Giants face elimination, but he could start that game regardless in order to allow him to pitch Game 7.

"You get in a seven-game series, sure, that's the option you want to have," Bochy said. "Both sides will have that option. Where he's at (with the blister), sure, all that will come into play. That helps make your decision, no question."

some really good pitching matchups to look for.  I just hope this series is competitive, unlike some of the first round series.
