Official NY Knicks 2021 preseason

I'm cautiously optimistic on D-Rose's minutes going forward, but oh man............HIS EFFECT ON THE STARTING LINEUP'S OFFENSE HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE THESE LAST 2-3 GAMES.

BIG DRAMATIC DIFFERENCE WITH D-ROSE AS THE STARTING POINT GUARD OVER PAYTON'S ***

Finish 7-8 and you could get bounced out in the play in bs

nah Thibs and Randle not letting this team lose if it's a win and you're in game. The current 7-10 seeds are teams we beat already and would beat again. Toronto will move into top 5 by end of season so I'm not worried if we slide to a play in situation.

RJ gonna be great. The only thing he can’t fix is the athleticism, but the strength & handles progression should keep him at 25 ppg at least.

Trying not to get too excited about this team, but I’m impressed for sure. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

if this team doesn’t win another game this season, I wouldn’t even be surprised nor upset. They’re showing good progress in the right direction. And boys really defending this season. :pimp:

I'd really like to make the playoffs to get the young guys some experience & confidence but I'm fine with any outcome. If the bottom falls out & we have a lottery pick, that's okay too. We could use another potential building block.

Our cap situation is good. We have extra draft picks. We're in a good spot.

I got bored at work today

I was surfing the Wolves reddit forum to see fans' reactions about Thibs. I notice they talked about bad offense under Thibs in Minnesota. I barely remember basketball social media praised Thibs and the Wolves about their defense. So I decided to do some researches. This surprises me the mostly. I totally didn't see this coming

First season (31-51):
Off Rtg: 10th of 30 (110.8 ppg)
Def Rtg: 27th of 30 (112.0 papg)

Second season (47-35):
Off Rtg: 4th of 30 (113.4 ppg)
Def Rtg: 27th of 30 (111.1 papg)

Third season (Thibs 19-21) (Ryan Saunders 17-25)
Off Rtg: N/A (111.4 ppg) Jan 6, 2019/endseason: 11th of 30 (111.4 ppg)
Def Rtg: N/A (110.8 papg) Jan 6, 2019/endseason: 24th of 30 (112.9 papg)

Mindblown

Surprising given Thibs rep for sure but that personal he had in Minnesota all those years was full of mostly subpar defenders and players that just didn’t wanna buy in period so I can see it

Exactly what you want to hear from the young kid. Hopefully he can keep this up for the rest of the season and beyond!
