1156 a dead socket? does that mean no more support for it?
I figured even with 1155 it would still have a few more years left in it

I figured even with 1155 it would still have a few more years left in it

there will be no more 1156 procs outside of what's already out there

gonna build (or try to) a sub $800 with a i5-760 and two (most likely one) 460s for my cousins' bday gift.
