ad700s, they are awesome. incredibly light that i forget i have them on sometimes. and the soundstage is great for gaming. but one thing i dont like about them is they seem so fragile. maybe that's why they're so light.
Sneaker, add these to your wishlist.

+1 on the AD700s. Read really good things about them. They're only headphones, though. Those guys who need a headset just did a mod with a Zalman mic and attached it to the AD700 with double-sided tape. I think NTer Joe Billionaire did this to his AD700s.
I personally use the Astro A40 Headset with the Wireless MixAmp 5.8 -the same one I use with my PS3. I think DICE used these as well to demo Battlefield 3 in trade shows like E3. Pretty light for an circumaural headset. The soundstage is nice; I guess the semi-openness of the headset definitely contributes to how good it sounds. Dolby Digital Live's simulated 7.1 surround sound is awesome. Battlefield 3's audio still amazes me even now
.Very comfortable and not tiring Tempurpedic-like padding definitely makes hours of gaming really enjoyable. Btw, you can change the side of the headset where your mic goes, since it has dual mic input jacks. If you plan on getting a surround sound processor, the MixAmp is a safe bet.
The wireless MixAmp definitely is a good choice for me, since I game around 8 feet from my 32" LED TV, and the wires are less messy. It's just pretty expensive at $310 for the whole system. Took me about $70 to have them shipped over here from the US, since it's only available on
http://AstroGaming.com , and only Microsoft Stores.
Btw, Joe has his AT AD700s the Wireless MixAmp 5.8 as well. They sound great according to him. The wired MixAmp (MixAmp Pro) is a bit cheaper.
NOTE: If you decide to cop a MixAmp, make sure your sound card supports Dolby Home Theater or at the very least, Dolby Digital Live so the MixAmp can process the optical audio signal from the TOSLINK port on the sound card. As far as I know, only GIGABYTE makes motherboards with DDL, so that's why I went with them instead of ASUS.
But they perform well, nonetheless. ASUS just has more features for the same price. I'm just still salty my motherboard doesn't have Bluetooth.
If you have a ton of money to blow, get the Sennheiser PC360 headset or the Beyerdynamic MMX300.

Yup. Dude definitely made me cop a mechanical gaming keyboard, with Cherry MX Black switches: the Thermaltake Meka G1. Definitely a great buy.
By the way, the CM Storm Sentinel is definitely a good mouse as well. Really bang-for-the-buck. Fits my large hand rather well, too. Still trash in BF3 PC, though.
SneakerReaper, nice setup.
Now fix those wires!
That full tower looks nice... but I can't find it in me to buy a tower that's probably bigger than my TV.
Doing another mod to my case to improve airflow soon. I think I can still lower my GPU temps under 62 degrees Celsius on load.
