***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Only thing Pence has is his temperament is such a vast contrast from the clown at the top of the ticket that it makes his positions look less threatening, but in reality he is even more bat **** crazy.

For me not knowing much at all about Kaine...whew he went hard, stylistically I could see how he could rub some people a wrong way.

No don't get it twisted for one second. To me Pence comes across as vile and horrible in his own right, completely independent of Trump.

I said competent, not unbiased or politically agreeable. He's more polished than Trump's rhetoric and attitude can allow.

And I said vile and horrible, not biased or disagreeable.

Pence comes off as foul as Trump does, just more cunning which honestly is worse.

i think so too. he really handled himself well compared to Trump but i do think Kaine should have controlled himself better tho. they interrupted each other too much

Pence did his job tonight.

He managed to not tar himself by defending Donald Trump and

looked friendly and resonable enough to be able to run for president in 2020.

Win for Pence.

If you look at the first presidential debate and this one, the roles reversed. Kaine, while on point, came off as more frenetic like Trump. Pence, while generally full of ****, appeared more presidential (like Hillary did).

Pence did his job. He appeared presidential and even-keeled, which I'm certain was his main goal. They had to give some sort of balance to Donald's erratic behavior.

Didn't get to watch, preparing for the storm down here. Who won?
Everyone's praising Pence for just not acting like Trump-lite, and calling him the winner. To make that the criteria for winning a debate is ludicrous.

I give it to Kaine. He gave comprehensive answers and kept calling out Pence for his answer-avoidance and supporting Trump's ridiculous claims/positions.

Y'all dudes are buggggging. Kaine did exactly what he was supposed to do. Kaine kept it real and went at small hands hardcore. Pence laughed cause he knew he didn't have **** to say.

Pence [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] this guy out here saying the things he wished da Don would say.

Kaine's defense of the Clinton foundation alone was far superior to anything Pence did.

Let's not even get started on Kaine's defense of his position on abortion, which was a million times better than Pence's.

Listen to the talking points in favor of Pence..."unfazed, even keel, smooth, but for substance I'd go Kaine."

Pence ain't finna do **** in 2020 :lol ...Kaine was on attack had that boy flustered ...even Hillary did a better job of dealing with Trumps bs

Exactly.

I know demeanor is a big thing for these debates, but Pence had nothing of substance. Absolutely nothing.

historically unpopular candidate looking for a 4th straight democrat victory?

Nah. you should be afraid.

anyone other than Ted Cruz or Trump would have been a serious problem for Clinton, she got lucky pulling Trump.

Pence isn't the one Democrats need to be afraid of though. That evil piece of **** will never survive a Republican primary; he's ruined his state and is running on the coattails of the most unpopular presidential candidate in history.

Rubio is probably the golden-boy for the Republicans in 4 years, as long as he doesn't commit career suicide.
