She acted like a buffoon a ton on Twitter, but she is still qualified and a progressive. So I don't see any real reason to block her confirmation

Still awesome to see Sanders call out a faux progressive.

Her past actions / choices exclude her from that title.

IMO, VA is really the wildest one on the list. Some of its most populous areas are near DC and they STILL have a minimum wage of $7.25 even with average 1 bedroom rent at 1800+

I think they passed a bill recently and it is going up to $9.50 later this year

I think the bill also included increases until it hits $15 later in the decade

Could be wrong though, I remember Northam and the Assembly in a disagreement over it. And he pushed back a date for the first increase

-I don't think she is a fake progressive. She seems sufficiently progressive given today's politics. I mean even if she if not a "progressive" in the general sense, she is still probably well left of center.

-I don't think/remember saying the US has no leftist in gov. Maybe I said socialist. But not all leftists are socialist.
