If they want to be part the US of A, the greatest country that ever existed, they need to adopt our American culture and traditions. No more speaking British English or international flights to foreign lands (why would anybody want to leave America?). Only American food at the dinner table and GASOLINE in our vehicles and COAL running through our veins. Can you do that, District of Columbia? Or is that too much to ask?
 
Hawaii is a tricky one. If they want to be one of us, they need to change their state name to be named after an American hero, like we have named states after Denzel Washington, Joe Montana, Florida Man, and Alexis T.... You get the point.
Absolutely. They need to adopt our culture and our names. University of Hawaii? More like University of Haliburton :hat
 
To be honest, the thing that my eyebrows raise is not the content of the tweet, but who wrote it.

Cuba is not a free and open democracy. So coming from Kristol you get the implication he means the US should "liberate" them, instead of waiting until circumstances change where the citizens of Cuba can decide their fate at the ballot.
