It's kinda ****** how the media took the bait on "food and water" bit and completely disregarded the part of the law that gives the GA legislature the power to remove the SoS from the board of elections and to appoint the majority of the board.
Bet something similar is playing out in FL. Democrats are setting themselves up for decades of electoral defeat by focusing on the humanitarian aspect and not the anti-democratic angle of this situation.
They really, really suck at messaging, and it's extremely irritating.

Every aspect of it is bad but to your point, the ability to over turn elections in majority Democratic Counties is the very worst part of this.
The only difference between Trump and his allies, on the one hand, and the mainstream GOP’s figures, like Brian Kemp, John Roberts and Mitch McConnell, is their ability to see the big picture. The latter want pretty much the same policies as Trump but they prefer to install minority rule more gradually and more lawfully so that it comes off as more legitimate and can be more durable.
We all chortled at Trump’s oafish attempts to get Brian Kemp to “find the votes” and when Brian Kemp said he wouldn’t, what he meant was, “I can’t, this time around, but I’ll change the law so I can next time around.”
