The structure of the senate is completely flawed when we’re giving this much attention to two senators that represent states which rank 40th and 49th in GDP per capita.

That, and they represent 9 million people out of 350 million.
With that said, what really needs fixing is the power balance between the Senate and the House. Bills introduced and passed there should be harder to obstruct in the Senate because the House (not the Senate) is supposed to be a better representation of the political will of the people (gerrymandering notwithstanding). Senators should also be elected to shorter terms than members of the House for that reason.

Yep. Let’s not even go down the road of the population the 50 GOP senators represent vs. the 50 dems. Especially now with 2 Dem senators representing GA.

The Obama comment isn't that its just offensive (which it is) It's that it makes absolutely no sense. She should be let go immediately as her integrity is and has been compromised, not sure how they trot that sellout back on stage again.
