Lol, so economic output should dictate representation?

No, I think population should. Which, if that were the case, this wouldn’t even be a debate. The economic output just adds insult to injury because essentially senators from states that have a smaller populations AND lower economic outputs get to roadblock decisions that affect everyone which is stupid.

GDP per capita has nothing to do with population size though, hence the per capita part......I just think its weird to mention it as adding insult to injury when imo it shouldn't have any bearing on any part of the political process on any level

Trying To Figure Out Why Sage Steele Would Even Be A Guest On Your Podcast

Or Did Jay Just Know It Was Going To Be This Lit

Notice when their left leaning talking personalities were vocal about their political stance, memos were issued and request were made to leave political topics alone, especially on air but also on twitter.

Jemele didnt stop. She got the door.

Sage didnt stop either...but perhaps her views are more in line with the powers that be at Disney/ESPN.
Eh, I think this rings pretty hollow. If you're talking about the Hitler comment Jamele AGREED with ESPN's discipline. If you're talking about the Trump stuff, I think she was let go more so for her reaction to the discipline than what she said if that makes sense.

Please put forth any other instances if they exist of them limiting leftist speech? PTI is my favorite show on the network and they dig into some pretty tough topics including racial and I see only encouragement from higher ups........

"I'm like, 'Well, congratulations to the president. That's his thing.' I think that's fascinating considering his Black dad was nowhere to be found, but his White mom and grandma raised him, but hey, you do you. I'm going to do me," Steele said to Cutler. "

Decisions...decisions, right Ms. Steele?

This is what lawfare looks like

For those who don’t know, an environmental lawyer named Steven Donziger, represented indigenous people in Ecuador. Texaco Oil (now Chevron) knowingly polluted these people’s home villages and it caused severe economic and ecological damage. The American attorney, Donziger, sued Chevron and won.

Immediately, Chevron avoided paying the judgement to the people in Ecuador. Worse yet, Chevron, a major donor to the Federalist society, convinced two federal judges in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) to appoint a private law firm to prosecute him. This private law firm, vested with prosecutorial power, charged Donziger with racketeering. The pro Chevron judges let the case go forward.

The private law firm, acting as a prosecutor, demanded that Donziger break attorney-client privilege, Donziger refused and has been under house arrest for two years on a contempt of court charge.

Last Friday, he was sentenced to six months in jail. The kicker was that the federal judge, Judge Preska, said that Donziger was disrespecting the rule of law.

Fossil fuel Capital has not just influenced a court case, it has judges on its payroll and those judges will act to punish those, who work within the system, and attempt to get some measure of justice by legal means.

strike szn is upon us!

Work at all of the Kellogg Company's U.S. cereal plants came to a halt Tuesday as roughly 1,400 workers went on strike, but it wasn't immediately clear how much the supply of Frosted Flakes or any of the company's other iconic brands would be disrupted.

The strike includes plants in Omaha, Nebraska; Battle Creek, Michigan; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; and Memphis, Tennessee.

The union and the Battle Creek-based company have been at an impasse at the bargaining table for more than a year, said Daniel Osborn, president of the local union in Omaha. The dispute involves an assortment of pay and benefit issues such as the loss of premium health care, holiday and vacation pay and reduced retirement benefits.

"The company continues to threaten to send additional jobs to Mexico if workers do not accept outrageous proposals that take away protections that workers have had for decades," said Anthony Shelton, president of the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union.
