***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Rasmussen has gone from Trump + 2 to Clinton +2 from Friday to today. (Again Rasmussen is a terrible poll)

And GWU/ Battleground has the race more in line with everyone else. Clinton +8

I wonder if they got vid of Kaine's speech in Spanish at a church in Miami Sunday morning. I'd love to see it...

I remember watching C-Span earlier this year when he addressed Congress speaking Spanish on immigration reform... Real talk, Kaine should've cursed pence out in Spanish during the debate about his constant lying. That would've been sooooooooooooooooooo legit... :smokin

For those that like reading & don't mind historical tomes, check out kissinger's Shadow: The Long Reach of America's Most Controversial Statesman by Greg Grandin. It's amazing how nixon thru kissinger created a "proliferated world" particularly in the middle east. The gop can really be tied to so much ill in this world & they've profited so much from it to.

Interesting piece on parenting here in the states. Food for thought, especially for the parents in this thread like myself.

Interesting indeed. Childcare in this country is too unregulated in terms of what you get in childcare vs what you pay. That and subsidizing of childcare hurts more than it helps in some cases since it forces families who don't get assistance to pay more out of pocket.

:x The kentucky governor (republican of course), matt bevin really calling for blood shed to protect conservatism if chubby aka male sarah palin loses on Nov 28th?

I know it's 11/8... relax

These fools are talking treason. These idiot/deplorables are disgusting & Un-American.

zero experience in politics

in our pay-to-play political system, this is a plus
word to those now exposed leaked wikileaks Email that blatantly shows quid pro quo.

but he's a veteran in pay to play

you're deluding yourself
ummm...hot off da press less than a hour ago..

FBI documents released on Monday in relation to the Hillary Clinton email probe suggest a former undersecretary of state requested the FBI change a classified email to unclassified for a "quid pro quo" exchange with the State Department.

Can't wait for Wednesday's final debate.

November 8th can't come soon enough, so we don't have to hear from these Trump supporters anymore.
Thing is, they won't go away. They been here since 2008, and have only been getting more bold. I'm legit afraid that some radical conservative terrorists will appear from this election cycle and we'll start seeing an uptick in domestic terrorism. Combining a radicalized mind, easy access to guns and a belief that their lives are threatened in one way or another, and you get people to become their worst fears.

I of course hope this doesn't happen, but I'm seeing too much evidence of some Trump supporters putting their entire existence into his tiny hands and the terrible words he's spewing about the country. I feared backlash from certain groups in 08, but like I said, they've only gotten more bold and now more encouraged.

Have I not done enough digging or is there really nothing that "damning" with the Wikileaks?

there's nothing that damning. just usual politics that everyone knows about except for the people on the far right and far left who are in denial (or delusional or naive) about how DC operates. I'm not saying we shouldn't try to clean it up but we should stop acting like it's all a single party or a single individual who plays. and we should also stop acting like it's only politicians who play.

real estate "moguls" are often the biggest exploiters

That's the kind of master negotiator we need in the While House. Someone who knows how to get things done, making deals left and right. :hat

true but the repubs could.at least make an apology or amends

Bill did apologize
Bill gave a ******** apology while pandering to a majority black audience at a NAACP convention. Then months later in a majority white audience, he was heckled by BLM and back tracked on that apology and  pretty much said that the crime bill was great and it worked.

bill clinton is a clown

I agree that they should apologize for that. We all know regan and nixon created this problem but still at this point an apology doesnt mean much. There just words. If dem and repubs wanna show their remorse they should work together to decriminalize alot of crimes as well get rid of mandattory minimums and allow judges to do their jobs.

Assange lost the juice a decade ago. Not sure why he went off the deep end, but he used to be THE man for reputable leaks. Now it's hard to tell if what he puts out is even 1% legit. Dude's got his aim on revenge at any cost against the US government it seems.
