It says a lot that the only prime minister ever to be charged with a crime while in office is the party’s favorite to be chosen as leader.

Plus, it is looks like the GOP is about to be favored to take the Senate. On 538 there has been a 2 point swing in the generic ballot. And their Senate odds dropped from 71 percent to 56 and dropping.

Dude Nate Silver has bad political takes, I usually don't listen to them, but model is solid.

And it is not only 538. Everyone is saying the same thing. The GOP prospects have greatly increased over the pass month.

Only silver lining is that the appeals are due before the end of the month. Gives the Dems a full 2 weeks of media cycle to pound the obstructionist party into the mud to turn out the youth vote in November. Fingers looking like pretzels with how hard they're crossed right now.
