Which states have extra money to take care of illegal immigrants? If they did would they not use to take care of their citizens like Chicago?

Different areas of NY state don't want migrants and keep sending them to other places. Messed up that the federal and state governments have not planned better. Is it not possible to send them to states that want them that also have the housing and money for it?

The border states that are currently shipping people north are the states that have traditionally gotten federal funding to help with migrants and refugees.

A functional Congress might be able to pivot those allocations to other states, but there’s no way that gets past McCarthy.
