The fact is both parties really dont want to pass immigration reform. They've both had several years to pass something.Why are you being dense

Immigration reform was looking like it was going to happen in Congress, and Obama said he would happily sign it. It was the far right/Tea Party that threw a fit and the few members of the GOP that supported it, ran away from the bill. Like Rubio and McCain.
Obama even took a political lost in the courts over his deportation policy, because he was trying to keep families together. He even famously said, "If you have a problem, pass a bill"
