He's previously admitted that a Stein vote is a wasted vote and that he doesn't support Dems because he's a homophobe/transphobe

Imagine his surprise when he finds out Stein's platform is just as, if not more favorable to LGBTQ people that Harris'

He's just blowing smoke and I seriously doubt he even votes
None of that would be a surprise but I'd prefer hearing the answer from the person himself.
Usually they're unable or unwilling to answer that particular question though.

As soon as they're asked to substantiate the logic and/or what they hope to achieve by voting third party or abstain, it's quack quack from them. Silence.
I guarantee if I offered to donate $100 to a certain 3-lettered individual in the Gaza thread in exchange for him to stop dodging that question and give a substantive answer, he'd still refuse to acknowledge or answer the question.

You're welcome sir 🫡

Well said.

Neither Trump or Kamala. Most likely 3rd party. Is it a wasted vote? Sure. But I cant in good conscious support either democratic or republican candidates.

The Dems lost me a long time ago when they started embracing a lot of these extreme LGBT initiatives. Specifically when it comes to trans rights and the indoctrination of this lifestyle on children. I cant support that.

2SLGBTQIA+ Rights

A Jill Stein Administration will guarantee the human rights of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Violent attacks on transgender women (particularly Black and other transgender women of color), recent stripping of state protections, lack of legal protection after negative court rulings, and long-standing historical inequities continue. We will end the acceptance of a violent culture that devalues the humanity of our 2SLGBTQIA+ siblings. We will fight for the liberation of 2SLGBTQIA+ people around the world.

Here’s how:
  • Support the Equality Act, the PRIDE Act, the Every Child Deserves a Family Act, and other bills to prohibit discrimination by the U.S., the military, state or local governments, or private industry
  • Support the PrEP Access and Coverage Act (until universal healthcare is implemented).
  • Develop and implement 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusive public education to combat bullying
  • Include 2SLGBTQIA+ history in school curricula, provide school and community trainings and 2SLGBTQIA+ specific school counseling
  • Federally prohibit the harmful practice of “conversion therapy”
  • Fund housing relief programs for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, who are disproportionately represented in unsheltered populations
  • Remove punitive and cumbersome legal name change requirements and fees
  • Declare trans murder and suicide rates a national emergency
  • De-gender or add nonbinary gender options to all Federal public documents
  • De-gender school dress codes, and guarantee protection from discrimination as a result of dress in workplaces
  • Publish the original Equal Rights Amendment in the National Archives, effectively bringing it into law.
  • Prohibit insurance companies from denying trans-affirming procedures
  • Remove “transmedicalist” language from all educational materials relating to trans individuals
  • Specifically prohibit disciplining or firing trans employees for acknowledging their gender/pronouns with customers, clients, or other individuals in the workplace
  • Legally prohibit mutilative surgeries on intersex infants
  • Pass legislation to mandate that police adopt policies to ensure fairer interactions with transgender people, especially transgender women of color, who are disproportionately impacted by disparities in policing
  • Outlaw misgendered imprisonment nationwide and end “gay panic” and “trans panic” defenses for violent crimes
  • Prevent and repeal any legislation that purports to protect religious liberty at the expense of the rights of others

Something's not adding up

I've never publicly admitted this but I went 3rd party in 2016. I "did my research" and bought into what Gary Johnson was saying, even when he didn't know what/where Aleppo was. I hated the democrats and truly believed that they railroaded Bernie in order to prop up and extremely unlikable candidate with Hillary simply because it was "her turn".

Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a criminal imo and I am ashamed to have lived in her district. I even told her as much at an early voting event in Sunrise.

Anyway, never again. I've found it to be much more effective to get involved and vote in smaller elections at the local level.

Ok, i'll play along. I have several reasons for voting for Dr Jill. I agree with a lot of her policies on policing, specifically her commitment to ending the 1033 program and adding oversight boards to local police departments. And I'm pretty much lock-in-step with her on her labor mandates. Imo she's a lot more progressive in this area than the Democrats. I'm fully aware it's next to impossible for her to win this election. And I'm ok with that. I vote on my interests, not party affiliation anymore.

To be honest, being on NT for as long as I have has forced me to mature and view the world through a different perspective.
I echo this sentiment loudly. I’ve grown a lot as a person because of NT not in spite of. I’m ashamed to say I’ve had a few awful takes in my time here yet proud to say I’ve grown from those. I don’t doubt those takes are one reason I get so spat on here in this thread and I cannot say I didn’t earn the hate but, I’m not going to dish out that same hate back because someone has little or no respect for me…..rather, I can understand. It’s not something I blame on being raised in Oklahoma or a certain way because it doesn’t matter, pointing the blame tells me I lack the ability to take responsibility for those takes, comments or choices.
Im growing out of my stupidity every day in one way or another and I am quite sure I’ll have a few more bad takes. Knowing this and understanding how I went from what I was to what I am makes it easy to NOT paint ALL TRUMP voters with the same brush. I mean we have a two party system where you have to stand on Red or Blue and to say anybody voting one way or the other is X, that I just can’t comprehend.

But winning is not a possibility for any third party candidate. So does that not make it pointless?
