I know im gonna get crushed on here unfortunately but I voted for the orange man pretty much solely based on the trans agenda that has been pushed by the left. I have a daughter who is also a female athlete. Last year she competed against a biological male in soccer and it was a joke show. It felt like something that couldn't be real to actually watch it.

Having a daughter, and choosing organized sports as the issue to be the one to swing you to vote trump is hilariously bad. Let’s ignore all the other detrimental things he pushes and has done for women’s rights

I remember in 2020 folks were freaking out when it looked like Trump might win. I don't think that happens this time around. For one thing, nearly as many Republicans are voting early and by mail as Democrats, so the Dems won't have to play catch up like in 2020.

I don't think a repeat of Hillary 2016 will happen either. Everyone knows who Trump is by now. That works more against him than for him.

I'm cautiously optimistic about tomorrow, but I wouldn't celebrate till I know it's over.

I remember feeling antsy about the 2008 election and wondering how close the race would be because for the first time ever a black man was the nominee for one of the two major political parties and not knowing whether he would be given a fair shake by the voters…then election night was an overwhelming tidal wave of people who wanted to believe in hope, see change, and be a part of history. I have that same anxiousness about tomorrow.

I think that Musk has spiked the Twitter algo to only show me leftist accounts that are steadfastly refusing to vote for Harris.

This is despite the fact that almost every leftist I know IRL is voting Harris or would in if in a swing State. This includes people who voted third party in 2016 and 2020.

Another data point for a relative landslide.


BTW We badly want this guy finished off. If Trump is broken, the GOP will soon become a regional party. Without Trump being able to be used as a disciplinary tool against Democratic Primary voters, socialists will have an advantage in the 2032 Primary.

Moreover, I hope that Harris has a great 8 years. For one, it helps vulnerable people. But there’s another reason. The better the state shields people from the vagaries of the market. The more people will see politics as something that can materially impact one’s lives and that mobilizes people. A confident and engaged working class, not being threatened by the GOP’s repression (at least at the national level) and Democratic primary voters can dream of something even better.

So, you think the President of the United States of America is going to mandate nation-wide gender confirmation in school athletics? Non-contact athletics at that? You want to have to provide medical records confirm the gender of your child, or have a doctor examine their genitals before they can make the team?

But you keep misrepresenting my statement. You keep saying not all Trumpers are X. But I never said they were, I said all Trumpers are X and/or Y. Not sure why you continue to warp my statement.

This is possible, that I misrepresented your statement, or misinterpreted it or both.

I have to be honest, You lost me a bit early on with the “eff this and eff you too” comment followed by the presumed attempted insult by making the “your presidential candidate” comment when referring to Trump.
After that it is certainly possible I glossed over your next comment a bit instead of digesting it fully which could have led me to misinterpret or misrepresent what you said.
Your F you too comment and attitude was not the type of exchange I was interested in continuing so I just kept it moving.
That is precisely the reason I choose not to quote you and further the conversation when I responded to the comment Platinum State made about how folks in here continue to paint all Trump supporters with the same brush. Just to be clear I’d feel the same if the comment was made in reference to all Kamala supporters.

While I’m quite sure you said “anyone voting for Trump is intellectually or morally bankrupt”it’s also quite possible that I did misunderstand and misrepresent the comment/your comment somewhere down the line.

Seeing as you’re taking the time to address it reasonably instead of just being some other way about it or giving me what seems like an opportunity to clear up any confusion then absolutely, I definitely have no issue with reading it again and clearing up any misrepresentation.
