People really need to have Civics refresher courses. Donald Trump winning isn’t going to affect what happens in Washington State. That’s that whole pesky “state’s rights” thing getting in the way again.
Folks just need to come out and say they don’t **** with trans people instead of hiding behind some “agenda” that simply isn’t there. And even if Trump wins, trans people aren’t going to suddenly stop existing, playing sports, etc.
In short, people are idiots.

Explaining yourself is a lost cause with most of this group but not to me, I feel you. I’m not saying I agree with you but, I understand. I’m not going to say you’re intellectually bankrupt or morally bankrupt because you placed a vote to protect what’s most important to you even though that vote to protect your daughter one way means you can’t protect her some other way or protect some other thing.
Sounds like a sacrifice that you understand and can live with.
What boggles my mind is that it’s not like you can’t make the same argument about both candidates. It’s not all WIN/WIN or LOSE/LOSE With either.

It's how I behave when faced with bigots and idiots looking for engagement. Keep voting red in the state that protects your daughter from the people you vote for. Keep in mind that people you speak with might be directly affected by your decisions, and the consequences of putting power in fascist hands. Your daughter deserves better and I hope one day that you understand why Trump is the worst option for her, you, and your family. Trans kids arent a threat to anybody, except historically and overwhelmingly, themselves.
