Many of those economists endorsed Romney in 2012. So it’s not like every economist is automatically Harris due to preexisting ideological or partisan biases.

Why didn’t he do it during his 4 years of presidency? Considering all the things he has promised and failed to deliver, why believe him? No wall that Mexico pays for. No healthcare plan. Never released his taxes. He’s a pathological liar.
Here’s why you’re getting push back: Okay, biological men shouldn’t compete in sports with women. That issue affects what, less than 1% of the population? What horrible things happened to your daughter from that interaction - they lost the game? Not ideal, but she’ll be fine, right?
Compare that to:
*Biological adult man who went into teen girls dressing room during beauty pageants
*found liable for sexual assault (judge clarified - yes, it was rape)
*incited an insurrection because he didn’t want a peaceful transfer of power, putting our whole democracy in danger
*purposely lied to us about Covid, which led to one million American deaths
*added more (8 trillion?) to our national debt in 4 years than Obama in 8 years
*appointed unqualified partisan hacks to the Supreme Court who ignore precedent!
*praises Hitler and emboldens white supremacists
*wants to overturn the affordable care act, which eliminated insurance companies denying people coverage for preexisting conditions. Has NOTHING to replace it with
*wants to impose tariffs which IMPORTERS (read: American distributors) pay, which means these distributors raise prices, causing us end users to pay more
I can go on and on. But really, ALL of this versus … unfair soccer match.
This mans actions and policies directly or indirectly harm you, your daughter; and every single American. And you voted for him to be the leader of the free world. All because unfair soccer match.
Come on. We have to be smarter than this. You can’t keep voting against your and your family’s best interests just because you don’t like *insert minority here.*

Those people have existed for as long as human beings have. He chose to vote in support of dragging 1% of the population back to the shadows of society, and he traded the safety of 50% of the population for it (and more; nobody talks about the widowers and orphans dead expecting mothers leave behind).
How does that make logical sense?

I’ll ask again: why do you hold random NT members to a higher standard than the ex president and his supporters? He’s running for office and he’s CRUEL. They vote for the cruel man to have tremendous power over all of us. And you bend over backwards to “respect” their choice, while admonishing us for “not being nice.” Why are those your priorities?

Since I saw this tooic a few pages ago I'll bring this up.
Was having a convo with a friend that typically votes 3rd party because he is generally opposed to what our two major parties stand for. No he isn't MAGA but around this time he always voices his displeasure because he feels he is always shamed for his decision.
But he always asks if it's never the right time to vote for a 3rd party (he says everytime he had done so he has been shamed) when IS he "allowed" to do so if he truly doesn't support the two party system. He says people always talk about wanting to do away with the 2 party system but don't generally move in the way that supports that desire.
Honest question.

He has been voting since 2000 and he has said people got on him for his decision during every election cycle. So he pushes back the idea it's only because of Orange.

We're basically stuck with the 2 party system, so he should act accordingly. He's "allowed" to throw away his vote every election and people are allowed to criticize that decision. He's also allowed to keep his vote private.

Why does it always seem like I’m always protecting Trump? I’m just commenting on the silliness I hear constantly and it’s all shots at one side, that’s why.
There is no reason to question both sides.
It’s, from what I can see it’s always your side, y’all’s side against the other.

If I want to learn how someone who thinks differently than I do I hang out and talk with those folks, with tall in this instance and you are horrible teachers.
