***Official Political Discussion Thread***

What I see in this thread and what I hear from people who live in liberal bubbles is pretty eye opening.

- "The hillbillies are doubling down"
- "These rednecks are going to get him voted in again"

By the time the night is done, people will be shocked how large of the Black, Hispanic, Asian and even Muslim vote he will receive. It's not just the "hillbillies" who are voting for him this time around. People are fed up with the open borders, inflation and the funding of foreign wars.

Whether you like it or not, Republicans ran on policy (whether you agree with the policy or not). Democrats ran on "Trump is bad, vote for us".

The crazy thing is he never described how he’s going to do any of those fixes.

Also, his economic policy of tariffs is horrible

Mass deportation program won’t even happen tbh since our economy literally needs slave labor

The foreign stuff meh he never got out of Iraq so he will just keep the wars he has now and say no new wars.

Trump is bad and if he wins yall will see oh I forgot how bad this was when he didn’t have Obamas economy to lean on.

I never said the policy was good, what I'm saying is at least all of us in this thread can remember what they actually are running on, whether we agree with it or not and no matter how crazy it is.

The Dems didn't run on any policy that was memorable except women's reproduction rights, which to be honest, is an issue that white suburban women care about more than most minorities

Trump can call Pelosi a ***** during a rally, but he can't define tariffs.

And he ran on policy?

Y'all are too much

my quick take.

Nothing strange has happened, of course.

But I do see Trump overachieved in more areas than the dems did last go.

Thats what I'm looking at more than anything.

^ hopefully thats what happens... we'll see
What west state is purple other than Nevada. At this point yall bugging. It’s really the battle ground states tbh.

GA still in play because he has as many votes as he did last time there and then they counted the metro.

Abortion right is definitely cared about minorities fam. I will say that.

True I can agree with this. He’s performing heavy where his base is though.

Nah

He wanted to eliminate taxes on OT pay

Aka more money in workers pockets

Yeah but the part he left out is getting rid of it pay. Taxes don’t offset time and a half and double time not to mention the hit your gross would take.

People tend to get energized against the current ruling party. More at 11. They don't counter the metro vote, though.

I will NEVER understand what Texans see in Ted Cruz. Man is the epitome of a ****…

Literally the worse type of Man.. and not even a real Texan. I can’t understand it.

Easy, most voters in Texas are conservative,

Ted Cruz is the candidate of the conservative American political party.

I get that. But surely there are other options out there with actual backbones?

MSNBC trollin' with the "Too Early To Call" and becoming "Too Close To Call".

This is straight BS. Kamala has comprehensive policy and specifics on the economy, healthcare, reproduce rights, and much more with specifics. She's articulated it and you can find it very easily, just look. The same BS they tried to pull with Hilary.

The Republicans ain't running on policy, they're running on fear of the other above all. That's the party is in the Trump era.
