Absolutely. The whole Andrew Tate inspired manosphere is a problem. Young men are a hateful bunch bc they've been fed that the world is against them.

Bro with all due respect, you are part of the problem! These young men are NOT hateful. They feel ignored and left behind. I listen to a lot of this red pill content you mentioned. And rather than dismissing them, you could try showing a little empathy.

It's just the replacement theory but for genders rather than races. It's pure misogyny. Women want to be equal therefore men are being ignored. They think that bc they are told that. I have no empathy for people that want to hold others down for their own benefit.

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

This **** is still so true and it's not just racial. Republicans spew hate toward certain groups to make the other groups feel better about themselves. Give someone to look down on and they'll run to the polls for you. That goes for cis vs trans, every race vs immigrants, etc. Just give people someone to look down on to make themselves feel better about themselves and they'll vote for you. This man went all in on racism on immigrants and Latinos flocked to him. White men are lost, but that Latino vote is shocking. They ate it up.

That, and sadly, men in this country are not going to vote for a woman president. That's clear now.
Or Kamala Harris ran the worst political campaign of all time. She wasn’t properly chosen by the people. She stands for nothing. She says nothing. No one knows who she is as a person.

And how can you say men in this country aren’t going to vote for a woman? I did in 2016. And so did over half of the voting public. Unfortunately, for Clinton, not all the votes were in the right states.

Well, after four long years that gave us record low joblessness, a masterful rebound from the worst health crisis of the past century, and meaningful improvements to infrastructure and increased domestic production, one thing became very clear: Joey Biden was bad for coal. There was nobody left to work the coal mines. Now, the only cough you hear on the train is from a harmless common cold, not from black lung or China virus like in the good ole days.

But those dark days are over! THE COAL MINES ARE BACK!!!!! I'm dusting off my hard hat and tossing away my obummercare health card because where I'm going we don't need no Western medicine. The only thing that matters now is my coal brothers and mining as much coal as we can to make up for the disaster that was democracy. Job's not finished.

The GOP lapping up the non-college educated votes to this extent is a fruit of years long efforts and consistent attacks/cuts against education in this country mixed with the virulent strain of anti-intellectualism that's spread pre and post-pandemic.

Also helps them pretend to support the 'working class' while enacting policies that continue to marginalize and exploit them.

There's a good reason for why they wanna gut and eventually abolish (Trump's own words) the Department of Education, the book bannings, outlaw history teaching etc :lol

Kamala ran about as good of a campaign can be run in 3 months. Unfortunately prices have gone up globally and Americans are too dumb to know globally. They see eggs went up here and revolt at the polls.

American ignorance, racism across all races, and misogyny won today. Congrats, I guess.

Being a woman and being black. It was going to be an uphill battle unfortunately
not sure if this is getting emphasized enough.

i’m not surprised Trump won. But I am surprised he won the popular vote by this much. I truly believe America doesn’t want a woman as president. so much so that they’d rather vote for someone who was impeached and has felonies tied to him and has made a crazy amount of inappropriate comments publicly.

crazy times we live in

This has got to be satire.

Left behind from what exactly? Their privilege isn't taking them as far as it used to and they actually have to get by on their own merits and work ethic like everyone else. Ol woe is me. FOH.

Unlike you and some of the others in here, I actually listen to dissenting viewpoints. I will reiterate, these young men are not hateful. Just like the growing number of black men who broke away from the democratic party and voted for trump are not hateful either. The democrats flat out ignored this demographic of men. And rather than practice some outreach, they were scolded for not wanting to vote for Kamala and called misogynistic. That's why I'm curious to see what the numbers are once the results are settled. I believe the Dems are causing irreparable damage along gender lines.

the more i think about this result, the more i feel that Kamala was ****** from the start. A lot of this election hinged on inflation and this notion of people not being better off now than they were four years ago. Kamala couldn’t disentangle herself from Biden and the price gouging on store shelves that happened under his term. Average voter wasn’t going to be able to disconnect her from the fact that eggs cost 100-200% more than they did during trump.

Not saying that Kamala isn’t qualified or a bad candidate, but this is where biden stepping down far sooner and a primary might’ve helped. Dems would’ve been able find a candidate who could distance themselves from Biden’s administration

As a young-ish millennial man (I'm 36) I genuinely do not understand the whole "young men are being left behind and forgotten" narrative. What opportunities do these young men not have?

I guess it doesn't matter what is actually happening, The only thing that matters is how they feel about what is happening
