His press secretary says on day 1 he wants to launch the largest mass deportation operation.

This is what they voted for.
Depending on how deep they go, I know at least a couple of folks who might get caught on this net (got a record for fraud). At least is a conservative.

Naturalized citizens are about to find you can always get stripped of your citizenship...

Trump is going to discard him extra fast
That's the hope but I can definitely see him and Elon becoming highly influential behind the scenes in the new admin.

About to be a contest between many interest groups and power brokers on the right all vying to use an aging an declining Trump as a conduit to continue to push through everything they've ever dreamed of with little resistance after securing a clean sweep.

It'll be free reign for all your groups from the the Heritage foundation, Federalist society and Kochs to your alt-right kingmakers like your Bannons, Steve Millers and definitely not lastly to the financiers like your Adelsons, Mellons, Saudis and the silicon valley tech magnates like your Thiels and Musks who have essentially become the new GOP donor class etc.

Gonna be 2nd gilded age stuff with impunity this 2nd term I fear

Demorats lost their way being the party of the blue collar, middle class and minority people.

They become what the old RINO GOP was. Rich Elites with celebrity endorsements that live in a fantasy utopia world.

Reality smacked them in the face in this election. They either move back to the middle, or get their *** handed to them the next few election cycles.

Nah. Elon and trump will have a falling out. Those 2 egos won’t work together and trump has all that he needs. Trump will just stop returning RFK’s phone calls and you won’t see the 2 together again

Also I’m interested in seeing what battles the trump kids will get into with the other party members. Like who would trump choose, Vance or Ivanka etc

Are you sure? If that message was really getting through, why are people still so focused on inflation and immigration? Let’s be real—many don’t want to hear, "I wouldn’t do anything differently" or "I didn’t make mistakes." They want bold, concrete actions like stronger stances on deportation.
There is strong, and there is effective.

The need to display strength instead of accepting that Biden succeeded by getting central American countries to stem the flow of immigration screams "I want to see people suffer."

I can't get with this. That's the part where saying "the cruelty is the point" is valid.

Inflation is not "higher prices," it's the rate of increase of prices, and prices went up as companies realized that people were willing to pay $20 bucks to have a $5 sandwich delivered. That was greed.

But you see, we're just supposed to sit here, and accept the never ending statement that "nobody wants to address these things!" even though the Biden administration has been implementing measures to reduce price gouging.

If the message isn't getting through, it's simply because people don't want to believe.

Why don't they believe? Because popular social media influencers they watch daily spent the last four years telling them how the people feel matters more than actual, actionable policies. Bonus if the misinformation was entertaining and funny.

I keep seeing people talking about how the Dems needs to get it together before the next election. I hope to hell I'm wrong but Im legit not sure if we ever have one again. He's strongly hinted at it on the campaign trail.

He has the White House, both houses, the supreme Court. All checks and balances are gone. He has nothing to lose, an administration and advisors made up of nothing but criminals, conmen, and fanatics. And with an unknown limit of power with the immunity ruling, who says he doesn't just cancel the elections? Who's going to stop him? Half of the population wants that to happen and I'm not convinced the other half has the stomach to do what's necessary.

People think it sounds crazy but this is the playbook and we've seen it happen plenty of places.

Her white voters stayed home
Hispanic voters abandoned her massively

That was it

i doubt these numbers are accurate. most early exit poll data isn't.
you can look at county level data to get better idea, he's doing better in black majority counties.

once they run the numbers In the swing states id be shocked if Trump didn't improve with black voters.

Perhaps ... what about the - 15 million voters that didn't show up? Why? They are seeing a different set of influencers, they are listening to the progression, they are paying attention.

That’s going to work….meanwhile America just elected a billionaire president (who himself is a celebrity) who’s again backed by the wealthiest man on the planet, who used his entire media platform to get said billionaire elected. Did you watch the RNC? :lol

It seems to me that Americans love billionaire elities running the country. You just have to be rich, white, preferably (scratch that-definitely) a man most importantly… have an R next to your name.

Imagine being a woman and voting for less rights for yourself because your white husband doesn't want transexuals in swimming competitions
Poor whites wants less rights so black people can't get the same

Tale as old as time. Alot of them eill run back to that single identifier over and over

He’s going to be well into his 80s and mentally incapable/fit to run anything…. So a Vance is his successor correct?

This cycle literally didn't bear this thinking out at all though.

We watched them move passed the center and ended up outflanking and being more hawkish than even the GOP on hot button issues and none of that mattered at all. It was a throwback to a national campaign from 2 decades ago that didn't take into account the present realities of the electorate.

Doing that again with a white man in 4 years instead isn't gonna change the fact that half the country categorically won't check that D no matter how close their policies mirror what they claim.

Doesn't matter how far they move towards the center, they're gonna be branded as radical communists destroying America NO MATTER WHAT.

Happened to Obama, happened to Hillary, happened to Biden, happened to Kamala and it happens to every single democrat running for office irregardless of their own personal ideological leanings. That's nothing new nor will it change.

All that red scare rhetoric has been hammered home from the GOP long enough that it truly doesn't matter anymore if that's actually the case or not. It's not the first time being used in the countries history either because the playbook still resonates no matter how little the average voter even understands about those concepts/terms.

So when it's damned if you do, damned if you don't regardless, why continue? Even with all that being said, they still manage to win when they're delivering a bold, forward thinking vision and alternative for the country instead of defending deeply unpopular status quos banking on voters prefering staying the course when we've been seeing a volatile electorate in consecutive insurgent cycles.
