The bitter infighting  that plagued Donald Trump’s campaign during the Republican presidential primary is starting to spill over into his team’s efforts to establish an administration and political operation, according to more than half a dozen sources familiar with the planning efforts.

The tensions played a role in a Friday shakeup  in which the president-elect replaced his transition team chief Chris Christie with his running mate Mike Pence. Sources familiar with the move say it was precipitated partly by clashes between Christie’s allies and rival factions on the transition team, as well as Trump’s influential son-in-law Jared Kushner.

I'm not the only one seeing that quoted post with words posted vertically right?

Its not the first time I've seen that in here. Not sure if it's what's being posted or just an a-hole poster.

Honestly, at the end of the day, this is what the majority of people do. Rarely do people not try to defend the person they voted for.

DONALD J. TRUMP’S NEW DEAL FOR BLACK AMERICA

WITH A PLAN FOR URBAN RENEWAL

Nobody needs to tell African-Americans in this country that the old new deal from the Democratic Party isn’t working for them. In election after election, Democratic party leaders take African-American voters for granted and year after year the condition of Black America gets worse. The conditions in our inner cities today are unacceptable. Too many African-Americans have been left behind.

African-Americans need a new deal from their next president. Donald Trump is proposing just that. The following are ten promises announced by Donald Trump on October 26, 2016 in Charlotte, NC that will define a new deal for Black America:

1. Great Education Through School Choice. We will allow every disadvantaged child in America to attend the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice. School choice is the great civil rights issue of our time, and Donald Trump will be the nation’s biggest cheerleader for school choice in all 50 states. We will also ensure funding for Historic Black Colleges and Universities, more affordable 2 and 4-year college, and support for trade and vocational education.

.

oddly enough, a majority of black children i came in contact with in public schools that came from charter schools had literally borderline ******ed aptitude.

it was a clever way for republicans to de-fund public schools without saying it outright.

didn't hurt that it allowed white kids to take money out of the public school system for the private school they were already attending.

so now, poorly funded public schools become even more poorly funded

and private charter schools with zero insight get taxpayer money

ECOT, the internet school here in ohio got something like 100 million dollars last year and they refuse to release their student records...

because they have like a 30% graduation rate, an average of 1 hour log-in time and very very very low participation numbers....

but they also have 100 million dollars of taxpayer money to pay off elected officials, so there's that.

:lol i dont why but i see trump literally dying in office

I mean this aint your favorite NBA player where you make excuses or fictional character in a movie.

There's a good list of things Obama ain't do that he said he would do (close Gitmo) or foul **** he's done (drone strikes; child casualties) I could call out and not sugar coat. Just cuz you voted for them don't make it okay to become a hypocrite willingly and in a faux ignorant disingenuous way.

Let's see if Donald actually tries to ban Muslims even after an ISIL or ISIL inspired terrorist attack here. That whole I told you so **** won't work then.

Same goes for when he fails to bring down any debt or deficit. It'll be worse if the economy doesn't improve and gets worse. Same with unemployment. A lot of basic **** he promised isn't gonna pan out or even be attempted and the ppl that voted for him are gonna be assed out.

Then there's the international angle when certain world leaders press him, try to play him, manipulate him, or won't **** with him at all.

This probably the only thing I'm looking forward to, is when they admit they were wrong. By what year in? 1st year will be excuses but they have no cop out like the democrats constantly blocked everything they wanted like with Obama's tenure cuz the Rep run it all. Donald is either gonna be on that sinking ship or create infighting with the party where it's just the Republican primaries all over again, a **** show.

I used to be in favor of Charter Schools because some of my friends used to rave about how great their Charter schools was over the education their kid was betting at the local public school.

However the more I learn about them, the more I am dead set against them.

Ninja talking about Trump talking us back to the Mad Men era, which also incidentally was the Jim Crow Era.

But, racism wasn't popping back then because everyone had money in their pockets, men could be men, and their cars were loud.

:lol

there are GOOD charters, i just dont think you should be able to take 4500 out of your neighborhood public school to go to an unregulated charter.

if it's that important, come up with the dough (or they can lower tuition to serve the population)

their kids don't even have to pass state standardized testing

or if they do, none of the kids we got from them had....and they were still passing on to the next grade...

again, in affluent neighborhoods (still in public school districts) it's awesome, you get a government subsidy for the private school your kid was already going to....

black charter schools are like black churches....for-profit.

someone's mom gets in an argument with the principal over their kid getting in trouble? yank them out and send them to a charter...with unlicensed teachers.

i have a problem with health and education being for-profit, period.

We need to setup a gofundme for a trip across America for him.

He needs to see the real oozing Americana that he claims is so great.

Hit all the bassackward cities and states. Fly by towns.

That wakeup call is desperately needed.

Would have been treated like absolute trash no matter where you were living (North, South, East or West) at in the Mad Men era.

NYCers don't acknowledge anything west of the hudson.

they refer to NYC as the greatest city and havent seen any

have fun in the dakotas OKC Nebraska

a Glen Greenwald quote I agree with:

"Blinded by the belief that Obama was too benevolent and benign to abuse his office, and drowning in partisan loyalties at the expense of political principles, Democrats consecrated this framework with their acquiescence and, often, their explicit approval. This is the unrestrained set of powers Trump will inherit. The president-elect frightens them, so they are now alarmed. But if they want to know whom to blame, they should look in the mirror."

I don't know why everyone is so up in arms about Trump being President. What's the worst than can happen? This dude isn't someone I would probably ever call a close friend but...man it's time for something, if it turns out bad so be it, was it good already?

I feel some sort of anticipation with this guy being President.
I've never felt anything before, during or after an election so there's that.
