***Official Political Discussion Thread***

I was very close to Gandhi on that test.

da repudiation of political correctness is also a gift from god, as well as imminent tax reform & repeal of onerous regulations that'll for certain revive our economy.
Gift from WHAT god might I ask? Care to pinpoint the god that has no respect for manners? Is it the same god that made you ashamed of your blackness?

i already schooled u on my ethnicity, i aint gonna address u anymore...

BTW, gods are vengeful...manners are da product of a flawed Human race ..so u can dismiss me with that as well.

Some gods are actually not complete pieces of ****, do some reading b.

:lol @ the second part. Everything is the product of a flawed human race if you wanna keep it a buck. I mean look at the election [emoji]128064[/emoji]

All I know is, I'll never buy a modern American car in my life that isn't branded Tesla.

I don't think Ninja even agrees with free trade :lol
He wants monopolies in the US to rise again instead :lol
Oh what a time to be in the US :x

Manufacturing in the United States is probably the outcome everyone wants, but cost of production is more expensive in the US, and the manufacturers will just pass on part of the cost onto consumers.

if more people are participating in da economy cuz automobile manufacturing is being done on domestic land then so be it. if prices remain stagnant because labor is replacing regulations but everyone is working, thats a trade ill take all day, twice on Sundays.

So you're admitting you were wrong.

i said IF.

their stock took a hit too, apparently real cheap gas make their products less appealing, especially since da chevy bolt already is looking to under cut da model 3 from a hype perspective.

But I read he buys gray market pairs ? Unauthorized pairs ? Won't those just go from 30-to60$

Ninja might have to cop a grey market Hemi 8o

u know grey market doesn't have da same distinction in da automobile world right? :lol

Don't matter, I got dudes thinking you bout to cop a Challenger from Air Randy Automotive :lol

well that just makes em dolts.

grey market cars such as da last 2 generations of GTRs are highly coveted.

Different markets, and the Bolt will never have the brand appeal a Model 3 will have. Cheaper gas is one of several reasons their stock took a hit.

people have to want to buy the cars first :lol

guess u forgot people in America really love SUV's Trucks & muscle cars...
U also forgot why the Japanese had a big boom in this economy
Because a lot of people didn't want to keep paying huge amounts for gas and maintenance for the cars was less costly than American cars
If American companies actually improved their innovation in catering to those that want to drive fuel efficient cars, there wouldn't have been a decline in their sales.

brand appeal ≠ marketshare...ask apple vs Android.

Chevy doesn't need da bolt to win da segment hands down da way Tesla does, its got an entire portfolio to play with.

We're not arguing the specifics of brands though, the point of all this is that Chevy's and Dodge's aren't going to get cheaper if tarrifs are enacted and regulations loosened. Supply side doesn't work. Trade wars don't work.

wrong, da Imports got a foothold in da US domestic market because a oil crisis (OPEC was threatening to slow production for Geopolitics) and in return made regulations oppressive to US manufacturers.

So instead of continuing to make da cars that excelled in da US domestic market, they were forced to downsize their entire fleets, comply with rudimentary emissions parts that robbed performance

uhh yeah they are, its called using da power train more liberally across its portfolio which lowers prices by attrition.

why you think Nike keeps reusing da jordan III/IV midsole & outsole across their entire portfolio? because those molds already paid for themselves.

not worrying about whether V8's are gonna survive and having to R&D more regulation compliant parts and powertrains keeps prices as it or cheaper.

Ninja, your ignorance on economics really hold back your arguments. Like Rex said, it is tough to have a conversation with someone that doesn't understand the basics.

Corporations are profit maximizers, you can't hope for them to pass on savings to consumers, especially when you raise the demand for their products. Also, stockholders will get heated that you're not acting in the companies best interest.

It sounds like you're making excuses for the lack of innovation that American companies failed to put in to adapt to the current environment.

and you're ignorance on running a business & being competitive hold you back from having a serious car convo with me.

Ninja claims he is a free market capitalist, but has no faith in America's innovators.

Amazing :lol
