Middle America aint get left behind, they just too lazy to keep up and adapt. Cats want the industrial jobs to come back because that's all they know rather than adapt w/ the times and move forward. Some day not too far from now we will treat them like those tribes in South America or Africa who have never encountered technology. We'll sell tickets for tours to see these Middle Americans stuck in their ancient practices, still waiting for their manufacturing jobs to save them so that they can one day buy a muscle car.

Precisely. Plus the the left still got tons more money and influence. Hell the Democrats will probably rake in a record amount more fundraising money in the next 4 years THANKS to Trump.

Also a majority of us will do just fine under Trump and still prosper regardless of policy because we are NOT stuck with failing jobs like those in the Rust Belt. I paid all these high income taxes to Obama... and now Trump wants to give it all back plus extra? Awesome. I will send that refund straight to the Democrats.. or ACLU... or Planned Parenthood in the name of Pence

i agree with this the problem is that lobbyists and huge corporations that favor fossil fuel and other more pollutant forms of energy have huge influence in government thus not many people having an invested interest in alternative means of energy. i do think more emphasis should be placed on these alternative means but until we can get rid of the influence these corporations have in govt. i just dont see anything else being done about it. especially under a trump administration

Bay Area tech companies moving to Asia and destroying the US economy as a result is a fantasy of mine. Not that I want that for all Americans (75% of the West Coast and non Da Heightz NYCers are exempt) , but I just want "Middle America" to realize how irrelevant and illiterate they are compared to the rest of the world. They produce NOTHING of value that the world wants. This country is only relevant because of the tech companies with massive numbers of foreign employees; go ahead, keep telling them to go back to their own countries! @#$@ will be hilarious

And there lies the same issue that's been around for centuries w/ this country. It's like there's a mountain dividing middle America and poor whites from minorities. At the time of that mountain are corporations and the 1%, and they yell down to middle America and poor whites that the minorities on the other side of the mountain are the reason that the mountain isn't moved and they're in the terrible state that they're in. All the while, it's them at the top of the mountain responsible for the state both sides are in.

Having too much money in politics kills economic, innovative, and individual growth.
