But to ask for a refund for the whole show simply because the cast addressed Pence as a final note? And in a completely respectful manner.
Don't you think that's extreme?

No. Not at all. Consumers shouldn't have to deal with spur of the moment protests without some kind of recourse. When some companies decide to choose sides, consumers can boycott in protest. So if they pull something like that at a show. People who paid should be able to get a refund.

They could get up and leave, especially if they have already "consumed" the performance.

Ay ninjahood ninjahood how do you feel about your new attorney general now??

400

Has he addressed this? Or is he gonna tap dance around it as he always does when it doesn't benefit his argument?

The customers got what they paid for. They paid to see the full show, they saw the full show. The performance was not interrupted to make those comments.

It would be like dining at a restaurant, having a good meal but the waiter says something you don't like as you're about to leave and you demand a full refund for your meal.

The sore losers? :lol

Son you think you won because Trump was elected?

YOU got another thing coming b :lol

So ya been badgering me to respond about a video jeff sessions made about Dominicans...and all he did was offer a critique on chain migration (which isn't going anywhere anytime soon) and sham marriages which nothing revealing or shocking

(see sanky panky https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanky_Panky_(film))

some of ya so desperate in da demise at liberalism ya just throwing spaghetti on da wall at this point. :lol :{

liberals & their hacks lost November 8th, time for some of ya to have introspection on why democrats have become tone-deaf to da majority needs of da country...and are now a endangered species.

getting out of ya echo chamber would help tremendously.

That's not all he did Ninja. He said:

Fundamentally, almost no one coming from the Dominican Republic to the United States is coming here because they have a provable skill that would benefit us and that would indicate their likely success in our society

why don't ya stop playing "gotcha" and post da full clip where he's talking about his critique of chain migration & sham marriages? of course ya wont cuz then da narrative collapses :lol :{

liberals tears continue to flow a week later :lol

Saw the full clip; still doesn't offer any nuance regarding what he thinks about the possible contributions of Dominicans to American life. But hey, some people like being doormats.

It was at the end correct? Should have done it in the beginning and that would have given people a walkout option.
Yes it was at the very end, hence why asking for a refund would be rather ridiculous.

Pence was already leaving at the time the comments were made. But he stayed in the exit hall to hear what they had to say.

You not making any sense :rollin

It was at the end, performance was done, consumers got what they paid for, the rant everyone he the option of listening to it or walk out and they still would have seen the show....

That's like asking for a refund on a movie because you didn't like the post credit scene :lol

Dave Berg knows a thing or two about late night television.

The veteran TV producer was a key force behind The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Not only did Leno successfully snatch the baton from the legendary Johnny Carson, he ruled over late night for more than two decades.

Both Berg and Leno understood a major secret to the show’s success, one today’s late night comedians seem to have forgotten: Don’t alienate half the audience with partisan rants.

Not at all, for obvious reasons. If they had done this at the end of every show. Then of course people who knew would have the option to walk out beforehand. But this was completely spur of the moment and people especially people who do not agree with their stance shouldn't have to deal with it, especially since they paid good money. I don't go to shows to see private people get on their damn soapboxes.

You sound like you don't have a problem with safe spaces. Or is it yet another example of your hypocrisy?

What hypocrisy? Consumers should pay to be brow beat with political propaganda?

Last month the Filipino president, Duterte told Obama to go to hell and called him a "son of a *****". Obama shrugged it off.

How do you guys think Trump would respond to the exact same comments? Seriously.
he would have praised him for being honest and then sent him some prisoners and a gold toilet to show Duterte that he's a down *** chick.

So then Don't deal with it :lol

Walk out, you saw the full show which is what you paid for...lmao you don't need to sit for the rant...

we have to see this for what it is. trump is a thin-skinned simp who can't handle criticism. ultimately this is not about the sanctity of theater but about limiting free speech.

it's pretty ******* ridiculous that you guys are acting like Trump is some deeply invested fan of theater who cares or even knows about the arts. this dude's idea of class is covering everything with gold. last thing he would understand is Broadway.

unwanted unsolicited political commentary is a bipartisan issue.

thats what da liberals in this thread are missing.
