How can we point and laugh at repubs who are getting shafted by what Trump actually does...

But then laugh at the Trump camp for stuff the outlandish stuff he promised and didn't / won't get done?

Couldn't one argue that people were picking and choosing what they thought was "outlandish" and just happened to pick the wrong side of things...?

:lol The hell does this even mean? Trying to play the contrarian got you looking stupid again.

He can have 90% disapproval and the same "disgusted" Republicans will circle the wagons and vote for him when it counts.

-Here is the thing, Dems should not put to much hope in approval ratings when it comes to elections. Maybe you can use to argue what kind of mandate he has, but that is about it.

The people sampled to judge approval rating don't really reflect the likely voter population, especially for a midterm.

The electorate Trump will face in 2020, and the GOP will face in 2018 will still be whiter and more conservative, than the sample used for doing approve ratings.

Also, people can disprove of the job he is doing for many reasons, than doesn't mean they would not vote for him again.

If all registered voters actually voted, the GOP would get massacred up and down the ticket constantly.

-Until you see sustain sub 30s numbers and his popularity among Republicans get much lower, don't celebrate.

Liberals have to dig in their heels and vote. The Tea Party ****** up Obama's **** when dude was in the low 40s, because liberals didn't bother showing up in midterms and special elections.

We need to return the favor to Trump and the entire GOP. Hold the Senate where it is, cut down the House lead, get as many state reps, Governors, and Attorney Generals in place to increase voting access, and 2020 we have a chance to land a real blow against white supremacy and conservatism.

Let us keep sight of that.

-But still, it is funny to point and laugh at this buffoon sometimes :lol

This is really where the rubber meets the road. The Republican voter base is more consistent, loyal and dedicated than the Democrat voting base. If people would've just put aside the "both candidates are the same" nonsense then we wouldn't have Da Don in the White House. The Democrats have the demographic advantage which leads to fairly large margins of victory if things go right, but the coalition is so fragile that if people aren't "excited" or they feel slighted that their candidate didn't get the win, folks will choose not to vote. I'd take consistency everyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Da Don and the Republicans will still get the same level of support no matter what they do. In fact, most of that support will be from people that are directly hurt by their policies that will go on CNN crying about how they didn't know Da Don would take away things they depend on.

I truly believe that if the Dems can stop the infighting and purity tests, people will be so hurt by the next 4 years that like da rust belt, they WON'T HAVE A CHOICE but to get out and vote because "both parties" aren't the same.

Who's going to be the Republican that gives The Bigot[emoji]8482[/emoji] a serious primary challenge in 2020? Because I really think it's going to happen.

I have a love hate relationship with drug testing like this. On one hand it is extremely wasteful and is just another silly way to try to punish and discipline the poor.

On another hand it destroys the stereotype that black people use drugs and high rates, in many cases you're just ******* over white people that wouldn't have been caught otherwise.

It is like putting white supremacy to the test, and the failing spectacularly.

-I wish all poor white people would wake up though. Look at Ryan's health care bill, look at Trump's budget, these fools don't just want to destroy the lives of minorities, they out to hurt all poor people. It is time to abandon ship.

Bruh, Rafael "Lyin' Ted" Cruz is feeling the hand of reality grab him by the crotch already.

Sen. Ted Cruz, R - Texas, says President Trump knows healthcare reform is a "big fat negotiation." The Senator adds, "If we lower premiums, that's a victory for the American people."

"If Republicans hold a big press conference and pat ourselves on the back that we have repealed Obamacare, and everyone's premiums keep going up, people will be ready to tar and feather us in the streets -- and rightly," Cruz commented.

Can't hide behind Hillary and Obama forever :lol

I pray ever night to Black Jesus that the Dems can find a charismatic white-Latino moderate Democrat to run Cruz a fade in 2018.

you gotta expand on this b. no offense but this aint making sense lol

Sure.

First, focus on the things he is currently DOING.

One of Trump's policies involved cutting taxes... He is actually proposing to do that...

And a lower class person (Trump Voter A) said "yeah, I'm voting for Trump because he's cutting taxes."

The issue is that he is ACTUALLY cutting taxes, but doing it for a DIFFERENT group. We point and laugh at Trump Voter A and say "well, you voted for him. Should've known he was going to screw you. He SAID he was going to do something and he DID IT.. You have to be SMARTER than that, dumb Trump voter."

Focusing on the things he CANT do.

Trump Voter B likes that Trump plans to "bring jobs back" because he's lost his gig on some dwindling industry

Trump Voter B goes to the booth thinking "yeah, I'm going to vote for Trump... He's going to bring back jobs."

Trump can't bring back jobs to Trump Voter B.

What do we say?

"well, you voted for him. Should've known he was going to screw you. He SAID he was going to do something and he DID NOT DO IT. You have to be SMARTER than that, dumb Trump voter."

Its like playing both sides of the coin.

Trump Voter A believed in what Trump was going to do. Trump did it, and voter A got screwed.

Trump Voter B believed in what Trump was going to do. Trump did not do it, and voter B got screwed.

*cue hilarious gifs*
