I fully expect it to pass.

These dudes have never given a **** about the "lesser" people.  Can't see that changing now.

Those messages the daughters were sending about Manafort are something else.

Don't fool yourself," Andrea wrote to her sister, according to the texts. "That money we have is blood money."

"You know he has killed people in Ukraine? Knowingly," she continued, according to the reviewed texts. "As a tactic to outrage the world and get focus on Ukraine. Remember when there were all those deaths taking place. A while back. About a year ago. Revolts and what not. Do you know whose strategy that was to cause that, to send those people out and get them slaughtered."

"He is a sick f---ing tyrant," Andrea appears to have said to Bond about her father. "And we keep showing up and dancing for him. ... We just keep showing up and eating the lobster. Nothing changes."

This is gonna get complicated.

House GOP will probably think it's in their interest to pass AHCA. That'll put it in the lap of the Senate and it allows them to tell their constituents that they voted to repeal Obamacare, knowing that they passed the hot potato off to the Senate. It allows Trump to save face because he will boast endlessly about how he's a dealmaker and was able to convince the House to pass his law.

Of course House GOP will have done this by making AHCA even more severe, which means the Senate is now in a tough spot.

In the long run, everyone loses. There are three possibilities. One is that the law becomes more and more draconian to the point that Republicans all unite behind it because it repeals Obamacare and lowers taxes on the rich. This will **** them though because we all know how that will go over with the average voter. Two is that the law magically becomes more liberal that Obamacare. The public benefits and overwhelmingly votes to support Republicans in 2018. But we all know Republicans would never do that so we can safely eliminate this possibility. Three is that the law goes into limbo, continuously going back and forth between House and Senate, between far right and center right Republicans, between Trump's populist tendencies and Ryan's tax-cut fantasies. It drags on for up to a year while everything else gets stuck in the mud with it and Republicans get ****** in the process.

Point of all this rambling is this: it's probably in the GOPs best interests to vote against AHCA tomorrow and allow Trump and Congress to move on to more realistic and popular laws. But we all know they're idiots so I fully expect the House to approve AHCA.

This is where democrats should interject, publicize their amendments to the ACA, explain why their proposal would be better than the republican plan, and tell the GOP to vote on it.

It shows that they have an improved plan, they are ready to go to work, and they are willing to work for the people. In other words, prove that they can do all the things the GOP failed to do once they gained power.

The GOP is very beatable on messaging but the dems are slacking.

I fully expect da bill to pass. Da Rust Belt been crying for increased Healthcare costs to improve their pain.

Facts. Yinzers here in Pittsburgh been fiendin for the GOP to do some dastardly things to their livelihood.

Excellent news. All da rural towns gunna be popping like it's 1929 B. Da soup lines and shanty towns about to make a comeback like MJ in his prime B.

I agree with others it'll pass today, but that's the first step. The "freedom caucus' is something else, deplorable is the correct word when mentioning these folks along with their voters.

Wait, when did they get enough votes in the house? Overnight?

As of yesterday, weren't they still missing votes and isn't that why they didn't hold the vote yesterday?

Last I heard they are missing votes, but they are desperate for "wins" so I expect something to happen. The empty threats by Trump to let "Obamacare" to stay in place is hilarious. Da best deal maker.

Da rural voters that support Da Don are making millions of phone calls to da freedom caucus to get dat win. Da meals on Wheels squad from Georgia is leading da charge. Stay tuned.

W's? I wonder if they know that they'd still need to pass it through the senate and if it got defeated at that stage it'd still be a huge L :lol. That threat is hilarious :rollin, basically saying "Pass this bill or else...20 million people get to keep their insurance"

To them a symbolic victory is all they're really after. Once the house passes the bill they will pat themselves on the back with Da Don leading Da Charge. Fox news will hail this as a great win for Da Don. House Republicans and Da Don will blame Senate Democrats and some Senate Republicans in the Senate when it fails and their constituents will eat it up. We've seen this movie before.

Not only that, they had ******* 7 years to come up with a replacement. The best they can come up with is a tax cut for the rich? Laughable. I really hope people show up to the polls in 2018.
