Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

By the way, if Russia was working so hard on the 2016 Election, it all took place during the Obama Admin. Why didn't they stop them?

Let's keep it real on the immigration thing, Obama tried to reform the immigration laws but it got rejected by the Supreme Court. I don't think he wanted to deport mothers just because they were illegal. :rolleyes

He probably meant all the not bad things when he said that.

Not 100% sure.

Don't worry famb, this is his shtick.

He doesn't have anything else but portraying people he doesn't like as evil/racist/etc.

He is the new red herring gawd.

He doesn't want to hear that. His argument depends on having the moral high ground.

go ahead keep your head in the sand bruh

In 2014, Obama announced a new immigration enforcement policy known informally as “felons, not families,” which purported to prioritize the deportation of undocumented immigrants with serious criminal histories and avoid separating families. But as the Marshall Project has shown, less than a fifth of the immigrants deported nationwide under the policy had been convicted of violent or potentially violent crimes. More than 40 percent had no criminal convictions whatsoever.

An even higher proportion — 47 percent — of immigrants detained by ICE in California from October 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 had no criminal history, according to Human Rights Watch’s review. (The data showed criminal history only for this shorter period of the overall time span.) The report estimates that only 9 percent were convicted of a violent felony.

“Instead of focusing on violent criminals, U.S. immigration policy has ripped apart American families and communities through the deportation of large numbers of lawful residents and undocumented immigrants with less serious criminal histories,” the report argues.

No, you just depend on the moral high ground to argue a point.

And you live in a fantasy world were every choice is simple.

You're confusing correlation with causation.

You're checking all the boxes it seems

I'm not insulted by you calling me a "neoliberal". I work as an economist, I know you have no idea what that word means.

It is just a cute insult you like to throw out.

It it would be like a alt-righter calling me a ****. I chuckled at such nonsense for people like you.

I agree. But the Azucar Papi or Turtle Power gonna kill that first chance they get.

Bet bet is for Dems to vote in liberals at the state and local level to protect them. Every swing state needs a governor and attorney general protecting those rights.

you gotta be in fantasy land if you think ICE, a mostly conservative agency, would obey Obama's words, let alone think Obama would secretly conspire with them to take mothers away from their kids

And I know what you gonna say next, "but Obama should have disbanded ICE", yeah he might as well just invite more conservatives to bash him for "overstepping his authority".

The dude can't win no matter what he says, everyone from day one was gonna not listen to dude when it comes to immigration and reform.

Dude is on some Jimmy Dore steez

Implying that Obama must be some secret racist because look at what all the deportations.

He tried to get immigration reform passed, he didn't have the support in Congress. He tried a back door, and the courts struck him down.

If he stopped deportations all together, that is grounds for impeachment, especially with the pettiness of the GOP.

When someone doesn't want to consider the basic functions of government when criticizing a politician, know they are not here for a reasonable discussion.
