The right-wing doesn't actually care about the Constitution...just the the Second Amendment. If they could change everything else about it, they would.
they don't even care about the second amendment. their interpretation of it, as reflected in their words and deeds, is a transparently agenda-driven misrepresentation.

I think people who act as if the constitution is not something that is open for debate to be changed by the elected officials that are supposed to be carrying out the will of their constituents struggle with what democracy and an amendment are in the first place

Dudes act like the constitution is an untouchable religious scripture, it’s not. Time and time again their are amendments made to it...

Well Republican voters are typically your least educated. I assume the numbers even lower once you cut out the moderates. Their lack of understanding of the Constitution (or... anything) shouldn't be surprising.

When it comes to uneducated voters let’s not say that. Both sides have a large amount of uneducated voters. Difference though is that the uneducated ones on the right think they actually know what they are talking about and act all high and mighty as if they are dropping knowledge on people.

People photoshopping that picture of Emma is just sick. These reactions to kids exercising their right to protest has been disgusting from the jump.

My only solace is that they are further alienating young voters.

Steve King gon Steve King :lol

Dude is an open racist sitting comfortably in Congress. It’s almost comical how he doubles and triples down on his general terribleness.

Why can't we say it though? The number of uneducated voters on the right is significantly higher percentage wise. Even more significant when you consider the left includes groups who have been historically discriminated against when it comes to the availability of education.

Is that statistic people quote all the time about higher levels of education equating to more liberal views accurate?

Kind of seems like a general thing that gets repeated without verification.

As someone who's not American living in America, it's always baffled me why a document written hundreds of years ago is the be all end all to everything. Evolve with the times, adapt and grow. This isn't ******* Lord of the Rings. Why don't we go back to riding horses too.

I understand the relevance and importance of the Constitution, but people use it too often to protect their own agenda, almost like how extreme Christians use the Bible to discredit gay marriage.

About time he does at least something. It was reported earlier last week that the National Security Council (when McMaster was still an adviser) would present Trump with a request to expel Russian diplomats. It appears such a request was indeed forwarded and Trump acted on it. Ironically it took an assassination attempt in a US ally's country for Trump to act, rather than the attacks on the United States. He still hasn't imposed the Russia sanctions as described in the sanctions bill unanimously passed by Congress and signed by Trump.

Trump expelling 60 Russian officials over poisoning of ex-spy in U.K.

So ironic for Steve King to say this cuz he prolly doesn't speak the language of whatever kind of heritage he has and his ancestors likely escaped Europe for similar reasons. Emma acknowledges her culture profoundly compared to him, and that's not even about the focus of the march! I'm sure Emma knows a thing or two about being Spanish and she speaks or understands it one way or the other.

He's scared and desperate that these kids are starting to exercise their rights to good use.

Really... he picked on CHILDREN? :smh:

Peeped the comments. This is more adequate:

All these Protestants know why their parents came here: the Catholic Church wasn't messing with their interpretation of the Bible; furthermore, some were even persecuted by Catholics for being heretics.

Bunch of *******s.

Joint was written at a time where they had unpunished duels in the streets. Dudes still think we're there.

I have a Facebook “friend” from HS who’s a hardcore conservative and even shares all the fake stuff. Well he posted that he just joined the nra and I posted that I’m getting my George Soros sponsored AR15 in the mail and well, him and all his buddies liked my post :rollin

One of our mutual HS friends got the joke and posted a gif dying laughing though :rollin

Politicians...elected officials representing the people...grown adults! really out here attacking and slandering children. There really isn’t a line anymore, it’s a free for all.

Scumbags :|

These kids are the real militia, but they use action and activism to oppose the government. Giving me a little hope for the future...
