***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Famb, we been had our battles. And I feel you more answer this question to push the "it is all an illusion" steez rather than discuss Bernie's political strategy

So I'm just gonna skip over this response. No offense though
I don't know if you have time, but when you do, help me out. As a Bernie Sanders supporter, what issues do you take with his strategy?

I'm just trying to understand your point of view.

man this is a long read but definitely worth it imo...

How to Hack an Election
Andrés Sepúlveda rigged elections throughout Latin America for almost a decade. He tells his story for the first time.

http://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-how-to-hack-an-election/

Last year, based on anonymous sources, the Colombian media reported that Rendón was working for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. Rendón calls the reports untrue. The campaign did approach him, he says, but he turned them down because he dislikes Trump. “To my knowledge we are not familiar with this individual,” says Trump’s spokeswoman, Hope Hicks. “I have never heard of him, and the same goes for other senior staff members.” But Rendón says he’s in talks with another leading U.S. presidential campaign—he wouldn’t say which—to begin working for it once the primaries wrap up and the general election begins.

About 7% overall, but I'd guesstimate and say around 12% of Dem primary voters.

Small percentage, but still somewhat significant because he's NEVER lead or tied with black voters in any state so far.

I thought he won them in Michigan.

Question to the other Bernie supporters, how do you expect Bernie to get elected president without the help of "the establishment"

assuming he won the nomination, wouldnt the DNC/"establishment"/etc have to support him as their candidate? i mean im sure they see him as much better than the alternative :lol

How is Bernie gonna overcome those superdelegates?

If he wins the pledged delegate race the supers will follow. They may not like him because he's not part of the "establishment", but they're not going to risk the backlash of telling the people their vote doesn't matter.

Republicans on the other hand seem dead set on imploding their party. Even if Trump doesn't get to the magic number if he's still in the lead and they give the nomination to someone else, anarchy will ensue. Which is fine with me.

How is Bernie gonna overcome those superdelegates?

by having them flip.

And how is that gonna happen when most of all those superdelegates are products of da democratic establishment?

Even without the Superdelegates, Trillary still has 263 delegate lead. How's Bernard going to overcome that?

We seriously still on Bernie? :lol

He aint winning NY and when he loses how could he possibly win Cali?

He'll get props if he makes it super close here.

When did he say that he'd suspend his campaign again? If he didn't win what?

What's the special # Trillary has to reach where Bernie can't win?

Much love to Bern, but him harping on the gas/oil donations Clinton has received is asinine when his campaign has taken them, too.

If you're that opposed to being in the pocket of those industries and are criticizing those who you think are, shouldn't you refuse ANY money from them?

Trump talked today about NATO being obsolete and European countries need to protect themselves or pay more, same with aid sent to Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Japan.

What about Israel, who actually does defend itself? Hmmmm...? 8o

^^ good luck on your move. I'm sure you'll find plenty of like minds who want their overtly racist America back in South Dakota

P.s. don''t champion the views of the most ignorant poster on the forum then claim everyone else is trolling. Hustling backwards.

I'm a Bernie supporter but I don't have any hope left of him winning. At this point I think he's just continuing to bring more awareness and support to his ideals. Even if he can't win anymore, it's good that he doesn't give up and keeps on spreading his message.

We need a candidate who can bring america back to its glory days like in the 50s and 60s.

So we can all flourish. :smokin
